3...McCarthey

Riley doesnt even make my list. Think he's a disaster waiting to happen for a whole host of reasons.

Thing about McCarthey though is it takes a full 2 to 3 years to fully implement the wco. We have that kinda time if were in WIN NOW mode? Nope.

So there I am, thrilled with either Mcdaniels or Meyer, o.k with McCarthey.

Who do I think it will be? Based upon nothing but pure gut instinct......Josh Mcdaniels !

wondering if roman is even in the mix. would require some patience since they're still playing in baltimore but i'd like to hear more from him during this search of ours.

in any event, at least we're officially in search mode and red is gone. one piece of good news at a time. like back to back victories being a thing of the jaded past, i don't really expect them to turn things over to a GM/Coach type person, but it sure would be nice.

The interview process sounds like it's going to be extensive, and could take a while.

Probably near the end of the month. Certainly after Garrett's contract expires on the 14th.

One thing about Mcdaniels, he's gonna need someone he trusts to help implement his system. Lucky for us AND HIM , his long time coaching pal Chad O'shea just became available. HUGE imo....

McDaniels already crashed and burned as a HC but I would be willing to go with him. I don't think Jerry would relinquish control to make the team into the Patriot way

would have to think this is rooney rule in play. nothing against lewis but he has done less than garrett when it comes right down to it.

I myself would be fine with the team taking a good long look at Roman. I just dont think the team will. JJ knows the natives are restless like never before. Think were in win now mode. If true,....Mcdaniels makes even more sense than Meyer.

Only way Lewis comes here is as a D coordinator. IMO thats a strong possibility. We dont have the time to switch to a 3/4 when Mcdaniels takes over and Lewis not only fits the bill but can probably put together a pretty damn good defensive staff in no time flat
