yep, coop stays.

I think Cowboys intend on getting Cooper signed but it is based on agreeing on a contract. Cooper has stated even before this firing he wanted to stay in Dallas in the end it will come down to a contract agreement

absolutely, his health is the only question. Clearly, he was hurting in the end.

He has plenty of time before the start of the season and while the injury slowed him down somewhat it did not keep him out.

I'm sure he wants to get his staff together before the draft and to be able get them up to speed on the current players and areas that they may feel they need to improve on. I don't expect this to drag out and I'm pretty sure McCarthy had a good ideal even before getting the Cowboys job of assistant coaches he was interested in bring to whomever hired him
Surely yes.

I'm thinking that Sanjay and Amari weren't seeing eye to eye too well, since JG noted he was the one who sat Cooper at game's end vs. Philly. Whether that was actually a part of the reason for his dismissal, or not, he's a goner. Anyhow, it'll be interesting to see who takes Lal's place.

All these people getting the axe, but Linehan boy Moore still seems like he'll survive.

The real question is did the receivers improve bets of coaching or because of the offensive system and pass plays. McCarthy is unlikely keeping or releasing Coaches based on this year’s coaching, of which he knows nothing. He either has his own guy or doesn’t. He probably asked a few questions to find out if they have any experience with certain concepts.

It's great that McCarthy is getting free reign on his assistants. That's the way it should be...He probably thought Moore excelled in a pool of coaching poo and that's why he kept him.
Lol... "coaching poo".
