McCarthy's burning a hole in Jerry's wallet. He better produce some results pretty quick cause Jerry's going to get tired of being an ATM.

I like the hire if we can bring him on board... Lots of experienced coaches on board. Still-- of all the assistants and coordinator hires-- I am most excited about John Fassel. Special teams has been an absolute train wreck the last two years. Glad we are finally addressing that phase of our team.

Wasn’t crazy about the Nolan hire. I would have been ok with Edwards being the DC rather than Nolan.

Welp, our team has no excuses now. Now it’s your move Stephen and Will.

I have to admit, I'm a little worried about too many cooks spoiling the soup, with all these coaches.

Better than the haphazard garbage with no leader except the Jerry to fall back upon.

I now wonder how Jerry is going to shut down Comms.
I bet he doesn't.

And the beat goes on...
And the beat goes on.

So uhh......I'm not gonna pretend like I know much about Edwards.....but does he not seem to be more qualified than Mike Nolan is? I'd be more interested in getting the Vikings DC than I would the Saints linebackers coach.

There was nothing under qualified about the last staff here.
O'Quinn was a complete novice and that was a huge almost immeasurable issue. Colombo was inexperienced. He might have corrected the Alexander mistake, but there were too many times where opposing staffs outcoached him (go back and watch the Viking game). Those are perhaps the two most critical coaching positions on a staff.

If you honestly feel that that staff, as a whole, was qualified, take a minute to realize how you really overlooked some things.
