Why haven’t Cowboys insiders broken any FA stories?

Very disappointing that all of the so-called insiders Helman, Slater, Fish, etc. have been late to every free agent acquisition and have not had any intel of free agent interest? Maybe because corona virus and they have been banned from facilities? Even so, very odd that we hear nothing until a signing.

I have not watched much at all from either ESPN or NFLN. Not even the local sports either.
Pretty much just read the signings post on here.

I watched some the 1st few days, and tuned in after they signed Cooper, but didn't see all that much.
I probably will not watch much until getting near draft time. Will stick to here and other website I go to for any news or rumors.

Fish doesnt have a great track record, and Slater's rep has take a huge nosedive the past year

You’d think they’d be trying to talk to agents or anyone in the building just to gauge external interest, at least in positions (DE? CB? 3WR?). And then they could be connecting their own dots. But nothing. Bad journalism.

Agree. Fisher just throws crap against the wall. But his crap never has substance and just stains the wall as in runs down to a river of dark water.

Slater, yes she has seemed to be off starting last year when she said Zeke would be in TC on time. But then again there were many that said that.

Will see if she bounces back this year. I have not been watching as much as I usually do to hear what she says or anyone else say. Unless I read it on here.

Probably due to the virus and well, the Cowboys are penny pinchers to outsiders.

They did have interest in Sanders, which was reported but maybe he just preferred Brees, or the money was just better there.

Yea I agree. They report interest on the guys we don't sign but seem to have no clue about the people we did sign.

A lot of their sources were probably on the old coaching staff, including the head coach.

There is no such thing as an "Insider" in professional sports. All those guys are allowed to do is say what the team wants them to know.

Exactly, the reporters don't have the relationships built up with the new coaches to get tips via text message yet.

Also Dallas doesn't signal their moves they did in the past, last year the key early moves were Quinn and Cobb and there wasn't much advance notice of those moves.

This could be very good thing. Maybe the new regime will run a tighter or more efficient ship.

That is definitely what it is. All their little contacts inside the organization are no longer all hanging around the facility leaking stuff.
