He tends to be fairly anti-Cowboys.

While he's over the top in his grade of the Cowboys, he's not far from the truth. We have lost more than we have gained and the Cowboys had the cap space to be better than they have been, that's for sure.

There's no reason we shouldn't have Griffen or Golden under contract along with Poe and then get ready for the draft. But like we typically do, Jerry and company overvalue what they have on the roster and think their drafting is so great, any hole will be filled in one draft.

You made some valid points but Clinton-Dix hasn't been a good player since 2016. That's piling a lot of praise on a player who has been left to sign his last two contracts as 1 year prove it type contracts because of his play since 2016.
.

I'm much higher on HaHa. The kid can play. The safety market has been soft and quiet the past few years. Look how many years it took Tre Boston to get anything more than a one year deal.

In 2019, Collins, ET, Honey Badger, Joyner, Jackson and Amos all got paid decently.

In 2020, Jenkins is the only one who really signed for more than 6 million per year. Other highest paid guys are Eric Murray, (3 for 18), Adrian Phillips (2 for 6), Jeff Heath (2 for 6)

Let me summarize the original article.

"Lemme look at the names but not the contract numbers......mumble... cap hell.... where are my potato chips.... mumble..... Cap Hell..... Isn't McCoy getting old? "

Well this is my thing about that. These same people told us Byron is overrated. Quinn is not very good against the run.....

And then he didn't even mention a coaching change.

Mind you the offense is being brought back. The defense sucked WITH those guys last year. So who did we really lose? That same bunch went 8-8.

I was never high on him but I've read things that his decision making improved a lot last year with the Bears. I didn't see any of their games except when Dallas laid down for them, did you see that with HaHa?

He played much better with the Bears than with the Skins.

But playing next to Eddie Jackson will do that for most safeties lol

Biggest losses...

Quinn... wrong side of 30 and paid way to much for what he is. Pass rush specialist. Everything else he is way below adequate.

Byron... Average corner who was beatable and did little to impact the game with turnovers. Was paid the highest paid DB contract.

yeah I’ll pass and take those comp picks and tip my cap

I mean we went 8 and 8 and have lost much more talent than we've brought in....

How can you not discuss adding a Super Bowl winning head coach, when discussing the quality of an off season?

The same way you grade an offseason a week in free agency without mentioning Jones and Quinn got crazy overpayments. You put it out of your....

I don’t think what he says is worth getting upset over. The next two drafts are the biggest thing for this franchise. Hit on both and we can be a contender in two years. If we have drafts like the past few, this may need a complete rebuild.

Average CB who was beatable despite the fact that vast majority of advanced stats show he was not that beatable and one of the better CBs in football.

Would I have paid that much? Nope. But this desire by Cowboys fans to act like it was a stroke of brilliance on the part of the Jones' to let such a mediocre CB walk is really silly.

Our defense sucked last year even with these ‘stars’.

A new scheme without the old man and ‘don’t look back’ dude will help.

Yes Szir.........there is a reason why they were 8-8, and add another year without a superbowl or playoff victory
