I recognize the value, and I'm still not thrilled at putting so much into WR, but Lamb gives us everything we could want. Credible outside threat to backup the starters, returns punts, even a credible starter in a couple of years so we can choose between keeping Gallup or Cooper.

I get that you are disappointed we didn't get defensive help. I am too. But Lamb was the top player available, so we should at least understand it would be hard to pass up that kind of talent.

You gotta admit, though, Jerry loves him some WR, have always paid a premium at that position in term of trading high picks and giving big contracts.

I think the WR position is the one that resembles his personality the most....big play, flashy, ego driven personalities mostly.

I'm really warming up to the pick, a lot of exciting potential.
