Great safeties . . . in this draft . . .

Sorry, I've got nothing.
What? If we still had Jones this would have been who I wanted, wouldn’t have minded if we picked him instead of Diggs anyways. He was the number 1 rated safety in the draft, shocked he lasted as long as he did and not happy about the Gnats taking him.

lol..as if he didnt have a say on all our defensive players

Leighton, DLaw,

LOL, he did. But he was a big part of worse choices that the scouts disagreed with him on.

He had his hits, but his misses were very avoidable.

except MClay agreed with both picks. also you're also taking about a 2nd round pick in Tristian Hill who's still learning. Taco was a bottom round DE.

He did, based on Marinelli's suggestions. I'm not excusing either of them.

I hope Hill works out, but we know Rod walked away from him in his rookie year and he went into the doghouse. Lots of talk that he did that to players, including Taco.

But, regardless, there were better offers both time.

I am surprised you're defending Rod, but ok. It's your opinion.

I defend because the draft is such a crap shoot , and the only thing people want to talk about is the bad picks while ignoring the good ones.

Fair enough. There were good picks too, I agree.

And you're right. Who knows, we're high on this draft but it could be awful or an all time top 5. Won't know for a couple of years.

I felt Thornhill and Watt were no brainers. I could've been right or wrong.

For what it's worth I wasn't hugely down on Vader Esch but didn't hate the selection. So Rod was right there.

Safeties are corner-backs who can't play their position anymore.
See Charles Woodson.

You do realise you shot down your entire argument with the first five words in your post?? If not with the 1st word.
