This is why so many of us were frustrated when we didn't get a deal done last off-season.

Letting your below-average receiving RB force your hand to give him the largest contact in every facet two years before his contract is up, while simultaneously not extending your franchise QB was huge mistake. With MM's analytical approach we will hopefully have less of these ***** ups moving forward.

Parcells was very precient when he and Jerry locked down Romo early to avoid this kind of mess. All they had to do when Romo's contract came up again was extended based on production and market value

Dak was not that good.

There were some improvements in his technique but he inflated his numbers on bad teams and gave us nothing against good teams.

Correct. A few of us were upset and stating as much a year ago. Dumb Jerry listens to the masses who are usually wrong.

56% of his passing TDs came against the teams that picked 2nd, 3rd, and 4th in the draft.

Dak’s best season is still his rookie year

He ran the second most routes amongst RBs in the league last year on a top 3 offense. What'd that result in? Only the 9th most receptions, and the 11th most yards.

I would agree but I would extend that to the entire Team. Offensive line and running game was subpar as was Defense and special teams. And the coaching?

I'm not really a stats guy either. What really concerned me about Dak this past season is that he really regressed in clutch moments. in the past he always seemed to step up his game when everything mattered more. This past year not so much. That's a disturbing trend after 4 years.
