According to Caesars Sportsbook...

1) Patrick Mahomes 4-1
2) Lamar Jackson 13-2
3) Dak Prescott 9-1
4) Russell Wilson 12-1
5) Tom Brady/Kyler Murray 16-1
7) Drew Brees 20-1
8) Aaron Rodgers 25-1
9) Deshaun Watson 28-1
10) Matthew Stafford/Carson Wentz 35-1

That vibration you’re feeling is the collective bottom lips of Dak’s unintelligent haters trembling... their brows furrowing in a vain attempt to understand football.

I remember last year when @WillieBeamen tried to use Dak's preseason MVP odds ranking(it was on the 10th-12th range of QBs) as a knock on him really trying to blow the whole thing up.

I wonder if MVP odds mean anything now. Whenever Dak's MVP odds shot up last season they suddenly didn't seem to matter to LilWillie anymore. It was really odd.

But if we are talking betting here are some things I see

Baker looks like a screaming value at +3300
I also love Jinmy G at +5000

On the opposite end Brady and Brees look like sucker bets

Pretty much any starting QB would be 3rd fav for the MVP with this offense. Very few teams invest 5 first round picks and all the money that we have pumped into the offense over recent years.

Kyler Murray, Josh Allen and Russell Wilson are all overpriced. Murray not so much actually given the tough division the Cards play in.

Eh that's cool and all, but all this does is feed into the trolls.

It sets the bar higher and higher for dak, so when he doesnt have a superman game he becomes a target.

Be careful of how hard you promote stuff like this, it could backfire down the road.

Yeah I'd take that bet on Jimmy G. Not saying I think he will be MVP.....but his odds are far better than that. If the 49ers went 14-2 or 15-1.......Garopolo would just need to do what he did last season and he'd be a MVP IMO.

True plus I think they will throw the ball a bit more this season. Teams don't draft a first round WR as a decoy.

Pass on Baker who has far too many issues but Jimmy G is a good long shot call.
He has a really good team around him and lots of weapons to put up solid numbers individually.

That might be more ridiculous placement of Dak I have ever seen. Don't get me wrong, I wish Dallas had that type of elite QB but Dak isn't close to be better than most of names on that list. Was this list written by Dak agent? ha

I think they will too........I do not like their receivers though. At ALL. But that doesn't mean I don't think they will put up some stats though.

Caesars Sportsbook. You should be a professional oddsmaker since you could do so much better than the guys in Vegas!

It’s okay, dude. I’ve got your type covered in my OP. Read it again.

That list is not that outrageous....his MVP odds were better last season than everyone behind him other than Russell Wilson.

Mind you odds aren't based on talent. Its to make money. A lot of people will bet on Mahomes and Jackson and Russel. Dak will get votes based on him being a Cowboys quarterback and his season last year as well as the addition of Cee Dee to the offense.

Baker's receiving options are OBJ, Landry, Hooper, and Hunt. He now has three great OL in front of him and my favorite LT in draft at #10.

That roster is loaded on the defensive side too
We'll see how it goes.

I think he just doesn't understand how sports booking works. No way can you say that list is not accurate though like I said above that Jimmy G one....while probably accurate those are some good odds.

Right. And that's what they are banking on. Last year being a anomaly. Baker should light it up. His offense is stacked.

If Dak passes for the exact same yardage and TDs as last year but they win 12 regular seoson games he is VERY likely the MVP.
That's why his odds are 3rd best.
There are better QBs with worse team and larger injury concerns below him.
These are professional handicappers that don't care about feelings.

The issue is Baker just isn't very good.
Coming out I noted how at OU everything was 5 yard pre-snap quick throws or scramble/play action and await deep ball throws.
He has no accuracy in the 20-30 yard standard NFL throw area.

All that said he does have a work ethic and moxie and doubting him gets him to shut up and work.

His WR corps is pretty good but it hasn't changed much and is declining not ascending.
