IMO he’s the goat.Pretty insane Eric Dickerson has over a 1,000 yard difference between him and 2nd place.

I love the arguments sometimes about running backs compared to zeke.
Dalvin Cook is more explosive (but has one healthy season)
Derrick Henry is better (has had two out of four good seasons)
Aaron Jones (One great year)
Barkley - Could be great but hurt.
Gurley - Hurt.
Zeke may not be burner type RB, but find me a guy that will keep the chains moving like he does. Find me a guy that will get you on average 1400 yards and 10 touchdowns a year. While catching the ball and blocking. Zeke is durable, zeke is consistent. Zeke is great.
Also remember this number. 6600. Thats how many yards zeke needs to be in the top 20 all time and a likely hall of famer. Over 5 years thats around 1300 yards a year.
I somehow left out Earl Campbell, who is 2nd. Still about 500 behind Eric.Pretty insane Eric Dickerson has over a 1,000 yard difference between him and 2nd place.
thats chump change for him...he stays healthy...this is gonna be fun.I love the arguments sometimes about running backs compared to zeke.

No he is not,, just leaves his jersey in the dryer too long. He's fat. /thread
The man has carried us since 2016....shame he is all alone.
Love Zeke, but he is NOT worth that contract, and I won’t be surprised if he never finishes it as a Cowboy.
So we have a great RB behind a great OL, and he was given the ball as much or more than any other coach would have given it to him because Garrett/Linehan were devoted to the run game. And where did that get us? Blame whomever you want, but if you have the best RB making the highest salary in the history of the NFL, leading the league in rushing, and you still win nothing, maybe you put that money in the wrong spot.
He totally ripped us a new one in playoff games after the '83 and '85 seasons, especially the latter. That one was brutal. With Deiter Brock at QB, no less. I hated Dickerson, but man, you are right, did he have me on the edge of my seat every time he carried the ball. For those of you that are too young to remember Eric Dickerson, he was like 6ft3 and once he got to the outside his combination of speed and power were literally too uch for the defense. One of my all time favorite players.
The two Denver cut block running masters, Terrell Davis and Clinton Portis.I somehow left out Earl Campbell, who is 2nd. Still about 500 behind Eric.
If anyone find someone else that I left out, let me know and we'll add him.
I went through the top aal time rushers and whittled it down.
lol if he would have had an additional 600 yards, he would have been in 3rd place. And think he missed some games for suspension.
And Jamal Lewis pushes Zeke out of the top 10 . I think at this point that's the list. Also it appears that LT was by far the biggest grinder, and none of the backs actually played in all 64 possible games.Updates!
- E. Dickerson (6968)
- E Campbell (6457)
- T Davis (6148)
- C Portis (5930)
- L. Thomlinson (5899)
- A Peterson (5782)
- E Smith (5699)
- B Sanders (5674)
- C. Johnson (5665)
- E. Elliott (5405)
Thanks, Super_Kayuza
T Davis started like gang-busters but after year 4 was done.
Hoping Elliott keeps it rolling.
