See..... look. All the GOATs are thinking Dak is part of the newest generation of great QBs. Even the great Kurt has no concerns with Dak apart from that one thing, and that one thing he says is all he needs to see. He's on his way to mastering the QB position.

Lemme guess: "Hoo cur bout Kurt, that noe nuttin' Super Bowl winning MVP QB."

One day you might actually read the stitches on a fastball,,, but I doubt it.

I know it’s a positive piece, it that’s still a fairly dumb criticism of Dak’s play. He’s got areas where he needs to continue to improve, because t it’s mostly on specific passes—like putting the ball out in front of receivers when they’re crossing the field, or throwing better fade passes. Feeling pressure better or holding onto the ball after a sack. Dak has always delivered in crunch time. It’s our defense that chokes in crunch time.

As Cowboys fans, all of us have seen Dak at his best, as well as at his worst. None of us know exactly what to expect, this year, especially, since the circumstances are such that so many things are indefinite. The upcoming season certainly promises to be one that is obviously unpredictably surrounded by unusual circumstances. We're all too well aware of that or, at the very least, we should be.

Outside of that, the Cowboys front office has stated time and again that they believe enough in Dak to trust that he'll be their guy this year. Beyond that is possibly anyone's guess. Much awaits to prove what he is or might be. That, in itself, should prove interesting. I can't wait to see what the future holds for both Dak and this team. A new era will unfold this season with new coaching and better talent. That promises to be intriguing, in and of itself! ;)

Four years in the league usually tells you exactly what you have at QB.
Dak might develop into a Super Bowl caliber QB and I hope he does. But odds are we are seeing what he is and what he will be for his career.
Very good post, that's my feelings as well.

I was wondering if Sunday would pass without Dak slobberers scouring Twitter for some kind of weird Pro-Dak tweet for the day... turns out I was worried for nothing.
It does mean I lost Dak Slobber-Bingo because I needed the square that said “unverified tweet with a fake Dak stat”...
Your obsession with Dak slobberers is disturbing. I hope you're typing with both hands.

All he has to do is produce in crunch time. That's strange because Aaron Rodgers and Drew Brees have been doing that for years, but they each only have one Superbowl.

Teams win and lose games together and sometimes you need a defensive player or a kicker to produce in crunch time. So why put all of the weight on Dak's shoulders?
This is really a well thought out point of view that goes unheard. It's really the ultimate team sport.

Dak is inconsistent! We have seen him make some pretty good throws and then miss some sitting ducks. His redzone completion percentage is preventing him from going to the next level.

"That one thing" being..."able to carry your team"?

What has Kurt Warner not seen to make him doubt Dak can carry his team? Many, many, many times Dak has carried the team during the past 4 years.

The bigger question is can the players carry their own weight, especially when needed the most?

Will Gallup keep dropping balls?
Will our TE always fall short of the 1st down line?
Will Zeke tap out?
Will Dak audible plays?

To be fair, we've only seen what he can be under Jason Garrett. If McCarthy has Moore develop an offense that plays to Dak's strengths, we might see him have his best season yet.

Kurt nailed it.
When Dak has been asked to lead the Cowboys and make them better because of him, he has failed every time.
He plays great when the team is playing great, but doesn't carry the team to a higher level when they aren't playing well.
That's the way he was in college, and the way he is now.
The Rams game a couple of years ago is the only game I can recall in which Dak was the best player on the field. Unfortunately, the rest of the team refused to be carried, and we ended up losing. I wonder if they would have built on that, had they won.

You're a darn liar. You should be banned for intentionally trolling, breaking forum rules and spewing such lies. You've even got some posters agreeing with your bunk full of lies. Disgraceful and intentional is your hatred full of bunk.

The playoff game? That was an awful display.
