What's the rumored guarantee? The last rumored $105M was a joke.

Edit: just went back to an old post of mine to post comparison numbers and this deal looks the same as the last rumor, if it isn't the very same one altogether:

Wilson: 4 years, $140M ($107M guaranteed)
Goff: 4 years, $134M ($110M guaranteed)
Wentz: 4 years, $128M ($108M guaranteed)
Dak: 5 years, $175M ($105M guaranteed) - rumored and $175M based on $35M yearly average

Maybe B/R Gridiron desperately needs some "outrage" clicks so they're fine with the recycled residuals, lol.

Don’t know why they won’t. If you are sold he’s going to take the next step you should have no issue with 45M in year 5 as that’s gonna be the going rate for franchise passers anyway.

If you have any reservation you would welcome a 4 year deal as to get out faster. Don’t see the logic.

if he hasn't taken the team to at least a nfc championship game in four years the media and fans will run him out of town any way with the big contract he is going to get so just make it four years and by then uwill know whether u want him for more years

The value of capable QBs on rookie deals is going to be off the map if salaries are going to approach 50M yearly for veterans...especially if winning isnt a prerequisite.

We will probably see more reaches in round one on QBs...its very worth the risk.

It doesn’t cost the team anything to sit tight right now. They should sit tight and just cave if they can’t get the five years as long as they can franchise him again twice in 2024-2025.
