It's also Chad Hutchinson's first start. Yikes. :muttley:

That game wasn't televised in my world so all I saw were the highlights. Run Emmitt, run.

Filip Filipovic? He's punting for the Cowboys. I'm surprised I don't remember that name.

Moose is doing commentary with Summerall. Nice.

Darren Woodson became the Cowboys all-time leading tackler in this game as well, passing Lee Roy Jordan.

Watching this.

Emmitt is about to break the rushing record.

Campo is HC. Chad Hutchinson is QB.

Joey Galloway at WR.

Quincy Carter has been benched.

Dilfer starts for Seattle and then replaced by Hasselback.

It's one of their Fox Greatest Games.

Date of the game is 2002.

We still had some talent then. Larry Allen is injured and out.

Oh the Chutch days

I maintain any Cowboys fan who believes we have it bad with Dak, especially those under the age of 25 or so, should be forced to watch the 2001 through 2004 Cowboys on a continuous loop until Prescott signs his new deal. Watching 35 year old Drew Bledsoe when he got here in 2005 was like a miracle from on high, that’s how bad things had gotten.

If you didn’t endure it, you just have no idea. At times it made the 2015 QB play seem tolerable by comparison.

I remember watching that game at a bar in Baltimore called Rocky Run, on a tv with no sound and i was incredibly excited....but they still lost and it was in the midest of some of the worst cowboys football in the history of the franchise....kinda like beating the Commanders at 1-15

Yeah, hearing some of these names again...not surprising this team wasn't very good. The Tuna would arrive before next season.

It was also Matt Hasselbeck's coming out party after Dilfer got injured. He took the job and ran with it, only to get screwed in SB XL a few years later.

Almost makes you wonder what the hell Jerry was thinking with this personnel he trotted out onto the field.

He was doing things "his way", with the ultimate happy-to-have-a-job coach in Campo and sorely needing some help in talent evaluation.

Having Larry Allen, Rocket Ismail, and Darren Woodson on IR didn't help either that season, but man I'm probably the biggest Dexter Coakley fan ever.

Hey, Chad Hutchinson makes his first TD pass to a wide open Joey Galloway. With 26 seconds left in the 3rd quarter the Cowboys are on the board, 7-7.

Emmitt reminded me so much of Payton...running style....great blockers...soft hands...tough...physical....character....leadership....class all the way.
:bow:THANK YOU EMMITT:bow:

Seattle's game-winning "drive" was greatly aided by penalties. Woodson got one for hitting a guy too hard. I forgot how long ago this "defenseless receiver" stuff began.

the only part of the game I could stomach to watch was when emmitt broke the record. Galloway should have demanded a trade because he was so wasted on those cowboys teams. if he could have had romo he would have easily had thousand yard seasons.

The Larry Lacewell era...he drafted a lot of the trash around the diamond
larry Lacewell was a total idiot who had no clue what a pro football player was. his scouting department was one of the worst in the league for ten years. did parcells get rid of him.
