So you have $100 to allocate your resources. How are you creating your perfect team?

Below is the a few team's current allocations for reference:

How is this accurate? Dallas has spent almost nothing on Dak to date.

Current QB allocation is roughly Dak at 31 (tag) + Dalton at 3= 34 mil

The QB on the rookie deal model with a string OL. It's a good model if you have a good QB.

That would mean Jamal Adams is wearing a Cowboy uni, but unfortunately this team doesn't value the safety position.

So you want to get rid of Amari? We're at $9 right now, and that's with Gallup and Lamb on rookie deals.

Btw, cool thread idea. Really makes it easy to see the ramifications of giving a QB the brinks truck and the other positions you have to go cheaper at as a result.

Cool find, for sure.

What sticks out to me, though, is that the allocation of funds for Dallas is so "close" in the trenches. Yet, they have 4-5 DL that haven't taken a snap as a Cowboy in over a year, if at all.

Kind of crazy, actually.

It does require either getting lucky like the boys have in finding romo and dak or the more often by drafting a guy in the 1st typically after earning a top 5 stop in the draft. But I would draft a running style QB every 2-3 years unless we actually had an elite talent like mahomes.
