Seems like a really nice and well-spoken guy. Seems like he’s turned his life around, hopefully he stays on the field can can be 70-80% of the guy he was. If so, this is a steal of a signing.

I've gotta give props to the FO, since I rip them enough....

I called for them to find defensive lineman from any where and everywhere....draft picks, castoffs, their own guys, older free agents, whatever....

And they did just that. I think theres a good enough mix there to contend if Nolan uses everyone the right way.

Tomsula was actually the DL coach in SF when they drafted Aldon. (now DL coach for Dallas). Aldon was a LB, but I'm sure they know each other.

He should have ended the call with, "I still feel great, in fact we're going to go out and celebrate with a couple drinks later." Then laughed.
