You're right. It's not complicated at all.

Dak > Romo by a mile.

He'll be the highest paid because he's the latest QB. The next QB after him will be the highest paid Cowboy ever. And so on.

He struggled against good teams? Isn't one of the characteristics of being a good team typically having opponents struggle against them?

But if he happens to "struggle" we'll just put in a slower, less mobile quarterback on the decline, one whose worse season was last year. Makes perfect sense......to someone, apparently.

I do not think any of us are surprised that Dak will be the highest paid QB in Dallas history.

Nor the highest paid player for Dallas in history.

Now the highest paid player in NFL history?

That takes a bit of digesting.
