Yeah, Awuzie is a very solid player. This place has it wrong about him. He’s been playing with a proverbial hand tied behind his back, so I expect him to be better in the new defense. He hasn’t been bad though. Some of the catches against him were made while Chido had perfect coverage.
He covers like a corner and hits like a safety, which is why he played safety in college and was evaluated as a safety by many NFL teams before the draft. Just ask M Lynch if Chidobe will hit you. As a rookie, they had a huge collision in which Awuzie gave as good as he got.
He’s definitely a good player to have in your secondary no matter where you play him.
