If Clowney is willing to a economical 1 yr deal with incentives then Cowboys should pull the trigger and sign him ASAP.

If NFL is allowing AB to play Dallas should snatch him away from Seattle for payback for Earl Thomas dilemma and having the need for a true deep threat.

Clowney is no pass rusher and we need one. Clowney is a better but way too often hurt DLaw. So what you do with him when you'd sign Clowney ? Bench him ? Trade him ?

AB ? No way. Kid is a pain in the arse and that wouldeven be worse if you hand him only the 2nd or 3rd spot on the WR depth chart.

Also we have enough WRs and pass catching TEs. We need a QB who constantly is able to go thru his Progressions. Right now we have a smart oc who designs plays so he needs only to figure out pre snap which WR his main target is.

Google search says his 40 time is 4.47.

Antonio Brown averages 13.4 yards per reception
Amari Cooper averages 14.3 yards per reception
Michael Gallup averages 16.7 yards per reception
Michael Irvin averaged 15.9 yards per reception
Dez Bryant averaged 14.0 yards per reception

Brown is a great receiver. I don't think he will go down as a top 5 receiver all-time.

Hmm- not if they trade Gallup for Adams. It will make perfect sense then!
not at the cost of prima donna infecting a young stud in CD, people want to dismiss how good Gallup really is, can be.
He hasn't even hit his ceiling yet.

Clowney or Brown I guess Dallas is missing 2 clowns in their 3 ring circus.

I have zero interest in Brown as the top 3 are already set. Heck I would sign Dez way before I would sign Brown.

Clowney, sure if he lowers his asking price I would gladly sign him, but it seems the Cowboys are already committed to Aldon and Gregory on the right side.

If I'm currently an unsigned free agent I would think about just trying to get a deal done even if it was significantly below my asking price. If the NFL season is delayed or suspended and they have no contract they get zero. Get your guaranteed dollars, bet on yourself and call it a day.

Clowney at a bargain price. No way in hell with Brown. If Brown came with draft picks it would still be no.
That Clowney isn’t yet signed would seem to indicate he’s not willing to sign at a bargain price.

If JC is patient, and if/when this training camp and season get underway, he’ll eventually have at least 2-3 solid offers from teams experiencing injury issues on their front seven.

Dude is legit going to go down as a top 5 all time WR. Whoever he ends up playing for is going to have a game changer. However I see NO reason at all for Dallas to be that team.

Go ask the raiders about that. Can't trust the guy, you can end up with the raiders AB or the one the patriots got its a 50/50 shot.

Many have already postulated that Dallas may have the best 3 wr unit in the league. Why do we need to spend resources on a WR?

And they paid him nothing for that and were no worse off. The entire fight was over the fact that they voided the guarantees in his contract because he yelled at the GM.

It was a money grab for AB and he can be a huge distraction. He was nothing but issues while there. Wasn't so bad with the patriots though he was still released because of previous off the field issues. So that's 3 teams who have gotten rid of him for things that were off the field. What do you call HOF talent but can't keep a job? A headache and that's being p/c.

There's absolutely 0% chance we sign AB.

Clowney or Brownie? lol There's no reason at all to bring in Antonio Brown. Before the lamb pick, I might've been interested.

For all the issues he supposedly caused the Raiders it did not reflect in their actual performance because they way overperformed their preseason expectations and that was assuming they actually had him.

No one said anything negative about his on field performance. But the fact that as good as he is on the field his off the field behavior has been found unwanted by 3 teams and little interest in anyone else actually willing to pay for his services. None of this is because his on field performance is negative in any way it is 100% driven by his attitude and off the field antics.

You may have well said when pigs fly the Cowboys should pull the trigger.

So McCarthy is now recruiting all the riff-raff off the streets? Just anyone will do? AB is a bonified thug and troublemaker. No thank you.
