He's a guy you keep just for long bombs 60 yards up but who wants to carry 2 kickers? It's a psychological thing with him. You don't have any pressure and hate if you miss 60+, hell 55 +.
But those 30 - 45 yarders you better hit and that's where Maher just sucked and felt the pressure.

So far MM’s tenure here has shown he cares about getting the best guys on the team and expecting results. He’s not tied emotionally to players like another HC. It’s honestly a breath of fresh air. Can’t wait to see this team on the field.
