The only time I saw him block was at the end of the game if it was him he chipped blocked to help Steele. It took forever to even do that. I think it was that long pass too called back.

Isn't hindsight great? It was an attempt to be aggressive. It’s not like the Rams scored after that call. It’s the calls after that call that killed them.
We lost 3 points. That was the difference in the game. Call made no sense. You need to know when to be agressive. That the difference between a good coach and Chip Kelly

Schultz dropped 2 passes and had a penalty away from the play which called back a TD pass.

His blocking is a liability.

Big dropoff from Jarwin.

He was chipping the DE to help Steele

Exactly, we only had two OTs with Erving's injury and a rookie UDFA at RT. If they didn't have a TE chip Dak would have gotten sacked 10 times in this game.

Schultz missed some balls he should have caught, but we have the best WR group in the NFL along with excellent receiving RBs. Our 3rd string TE isn't the reason we lost.

Had to be for blocking because the Oline was getting demolished outside of the LT.

Right, and would we be having this discussion if it worked? Of course not. The call would have been considered gutsy and everything would have been right world. All aggressive plays work out like that for some reason.

Makes zero sense
3rd and 20 and trying to win and you got a practice squad te on the field. Lmao. All of these tes suck. Everybody on Gods green earth predicted jarwin would get hurt and there would be no bonified replacement. Lol. Now if those other 2 scrub tes get hurt we'll have a great team.. Where are these Amazing tes who can win something?

This especially goes out to Rogers. TOLD YA SO 7 YEARS STRAIGHT BRO. They lose and we lose.

No 10 personell w quick screens and slants which is how you beat a team thats in your qbs face all night. Gotta have those scrub tes on every snap. Ugh.

Shoulda got Jared Cook who had 5 catches for 80 yards while drawing a better defender.

Its bad when your tes are subpar. Its trash when you play them anyway. Esp when ya trying to win the game. Ugh. Stupid Coaching. Pollard was eating guys up. They should be leaving him and the 4th wr out there. F these tes

The other team had a good te and ours stunk. That was the difference. Id rather have tavon or Dez Bryant or martellus bennett off the couch.

Moore better forget everything Garrett "taught" him. That was a Garrett offense start to finish. No motion, no rollouts, no RPO, no misdirection, lot of stationary receivers, 2 yard patterns on with 4 to go. Beat your man.

You got a point there. Offense didn't look like the good times of last year.

But it's the reason we never win beans. These Tes never make any gamechanging plays but they play on all the Gamechanging Plays . Enough is enough . Get these scrub tes off the field and use an extra olineman, wr, or Rb who has more upside . It's 3rd and 20 and you got Dalton Schultz going deep for the win! Lmao

Quit defending This sorry Te Core They've been sorry for 7+ years. The great Tes on the winning teams make plays every week. We just make excuses. Lol

Kellen Moore is proving he doesn't have what it takes as O-Coordinator. Plain and simple. He couldn't even scheme this offense's weapons to beat the constant rush of the Rams. The Rams did the opposite to our Defense. Very easy to see who has the better/smarter/scheming O-Coordinator.
