Did you happen to take advantage of the free Sunday Ticket yesterday and move around the venues as I did. I was mainly doing that to check out my feeling that preseason games are unnecessary and for the most part, I did verify that. I saw no appreciable difference between opening weekend with preseason games and without them and actually saw better ball from some teams.

However, after cruising the venues, those with the phony crowd noise were not only annoying but so poorly done I wondered if the audio engineer was actually watching the game? I was trying to get into the CAR-LVR game and it was so bad, I had to just mute it to continue to watch it. None of the crowd noise matched what was happening on the field.

15B a year industry and that's the best they can do? They must really buy into that "captive audience".

All their efforts are spent "elsewhere".

Of the games I watched the Cowboys audio was the worst. I just imagined a kid turning a crowd volume dial back and forth all game without actually knowing what's going on.

No reason why we cant have fans in the stadium spaced 2 seats apart. Every other row is vacant with 2 seats apart. I only say this to abide by the 6 foot rule.

Or just let fans in regardless. Players and coaches are sweating and spitting on each other all game

I rather have silence/field noise I guess with a 3 second delay for cussing

Have they programmed this crowd noise to boo when there is a Roger Goodell sighting? If they did, then they can pitch it as being close to reality.

They probably hired the guy from Madden 21 to run the crowd noise lol

I like how our D has off sides with zero fan noise
Announcers thought it was because they could hear the cadence of the QB better without the noise. Guess only the players know for sure.

I'm pretty sure every game had piped in crowd noise, and imo they did a pretty good job.

Yea I thought it was fine.

There's definitely less energy, but I don't think viewing was any different.

I think it would have been nice if at least they had the stadium sound guy playing music and effects during the game. & Cheerleaders on the sidelines would have helped.
