..dont know if you checked him out. On at least 3 plays he owned the guy in front of him and got in the backfield. Pretty good, I'd say. Dlaw maybe once got back there. Some hope in the tunnel.

Bringing him into the game on the last couple of series of the first half changed the complexion. He immediately got push up the middle and got into the backfield. For some reason in the second half they used him sparingly again it seemed. Similar perplexing decisions that we saw last year.

Hill started the game. Yea, he got some penetration at points, but all DTs were getting moved out of the way with no issues most of that first half.

Oh did he start on the two down linemen disaster? Im not surprised I didn't notice. That was terrible from concept to inception.

Anyone can look like a player if we set the bar low enough. I guess actually seeing him on the field is an improvement but wow our interior DL looks awful

Yah. They got dominated.

10000% agreed. Everybody's talking pass rushers and I'm watching us line up 2 tackles against 3 interior lineman the vast majority of snaps. I dont know why the O WOULDN'T run the ball and succeed with that lineup.

I think Hill might at least have a chance to develop somewhat more impressively by year's end.

Perhaps we'll see if it's in the cards by then. McCarthy appears to be favoring his upside, lately.

Without a doubt, he has come a moon shot from the seemingly hopeless case he was last year.

Poe is useless. Another crap addition this off season along with Ha ha, Erving, The Fat Jerry Submissive etc.

With all due respect, because you're not wrong, Poe wasn't brought in with the idea of him being a first-line starter. He was supposed to be depth. McCoy going down and then being cut forced people into roles that they weren't originally intended for. Maybe Gallimore can show out in practice and figure it out. He was fairly disruptive at times against the pass but got gashed in the run game.

Aldon Smith was our best Dlineman last night, period. Hill flashed, but shouldnt be starting. We just need to accept the fact we are woeful across the dline. Lots of work to be done. IMO, the front 7 needs a total overhaul fast. Time to sign Snacks Harrison and just play him. We need a spark ANYWHERE on the front 7. LVE is toast...time to move on from him. Call up Francis Bernard from the PS and start him. If I am the HC, I am starting the kid in the middle this week. I want my best 3 linebackers out there. He, Joe Thomas and Jaylon at weak. Those are the best 3 we have left. If this continues we will be looking at a 0-3 start.

at this point Gallimore is looking very tempting to me. Start him. He cannot be any worse than what we had.

If Snacks had the desire or ability at this point of his career that people around here seems to believe, he wouldn't still be on the street. I don't want to bring in a guy just looking to get paid. He's publicly questioned his own desire. That is absolutely not the influence this team needs. This team is already soft. It needs dogs and people that will run through brick walls for the football. This is really the only reason I wanted Jamal. The fact that Jaylon and Tank can walk around like alphas really speaks to how soft this team is. Both of those guys should have been son'd a long time ago. Maybe Aldon will be that guy, but he has a lot to prove first.

Poe was definitely brought in to be a starter
