Per Blogging the Boys- Look at their video clips in their link .. of our defense vs screens , and maybe this
will explain why we remain so weak and vulnerable vs Screen passes ....

https://www.bloggingtheboys.com/202...epared-for-the-pass-rush-the-cowboys-were-not

After further review: The Rams were prepared for the pass rush, the Cowboys were not

What can we learn from looking at the tape of the Cowboys/Rams game?

That video clip is just...

...Jaylon Smith being dreadfully slow to react. He gets beat to the receiver by LVE, who started on the other side of the offense lol.

Dak lived off roll outs and PA year one.

I’d like to see a few a game. At least. A screen would be cool too.

Dak can run, and he's great throwing on the run. So naturally we worked hard to make him a pocket passer.

go for it instead of kicking the tying field goal has been scrutinized from all angles. After re-watching the tape, it’s really a play that we’re just unhappy with the outcome versus the actual decision itself.

I disagree with this. You tie the game and put pressure back on the Rams so they have to play to win, and not just to protect the lead. The 3 points would have changed the momentum of the game.

This.

Then if they get 3 or don’t score you go for the win.

It's hard to say who is really at fault here without understanding the defensive game plan and who was responsible for who. Looking at the first two plays in that clip Jaylon is playing as though his read is clearly the RB. I can't tell if the secondary is in a zone concept or man, if its zone it seems there should have been a DB covering the flats.

There was no video but clearly game planned on what they heard. Which is better than nothing and worked to their favor.
