Why not take a chance on Earl Thomas if he’ll sign a 1 or 2 year deal?

Antonio Brown will most likely get a job with a team before season's end. I don't mean to beat this subject to death, but I doubt what ET has done is any worse than the the multiple other infractions by players throughout the league. Things aren't over with ET just yet.

We'll see.

On both Antonio Brown and Earl Thomas. I feel that Brown's career is already over, and if things keep going as they are, Thomas' as well.

When I see success stories like Aldon Smith, I am hesitant to write-off Earl Thomas. That said, I understand it took Smith years to recover to a point he could be reinstated. At least Thomas hasn't been suspended by the league.

I guess there's a point about comparable ages of the players, but the key difference in my mind is that Smith's mistakes are in the past, while Brown's - and especially Thomas' - mistakes are in the present.

The defensive backs looked really bad Sunday night. Aldon Smith looked really good and I bet Randy Gregory will look like a beast when he gets a chance as well.

We need to do something NOW to address these DBs. Perhaps getting Jourdan Lewis back and adding ET may be the answer?

You just don't want to mess up what we got going here.

After the first game and those injuries, I would expect this to be a nail biter of a season with some tough rows to plow, do they want a guy with his rep on this team? He's proven himself to be a problem on a team doing OK, if one is struggling, how is he going to be?

The other side of that coin is that he's not seen interest from other teams and got kicked off a team known to put up with a lot of star D players. Has that made him humble? Has that made hi look at himself as the problem?

They could sure as hell use his talent on the field but at what cost?

You’re right- ET and AB will probably both get jobs elsewhere. But it probably won’t be with organizations that know what they’re doing.
