Good day for the unprovens today. Dalton Shultz, Noah Brown, Trysten Hill, Brandon Knoght, Joe Thomas and Terrence Steele.
Steele is a UDFA. He's going to struggle.

BUT considered that he played LT and LG at run-heavy TxTech...his pass protection at RT hasn't been thaaaat bad.

if he works out: UDFA GOLD

Outside of the penalties, he wasn't bad today.

I'm thinking he'll be our swing tackle for a couple of years.

He had a bad game last week, but based on Jarwin's play last week before injury and Schultz and Bell this week, Witten had no business starting last year.

I think Schultz just needed experience playing with the starters. He’s a smart kid, just needs that confidence. Hopefully this game was just a start!

he played like witten today. he watched witten last year and did a good job of finding holes in the defense to keep the chains moving. teams will probably watch him more now.

Dak cannot fall into the trap of just dumping it off to Schultz and letting the artist create.

Had a very solid game.
I think the TE position drop off due to injuries wont hit as hard as expected. We need to add another veteran to this team though.

Our TE's sucked last week.

Witten should've been a reserve, no doubt, but no TE played well for us last week.

No longer is he just "the son of the guy that wrote Charlie Brown."

Young Dalton Schultz played well today and provided if nothing else what Witten gave us in the passing game the last 3-4 seasons.
I think he could a good safety valve type guy, but that may be able to create a little himself.

I could see him being like Swaim was in 2018 before he got hurt. He was looking pretty decent
