ET could come in and be the best safety we've had since Darren Woodson and even at his age Clay Matthews could easily come in and be the best linebacker we have on the field with Lee and LVE out. Jerry make the calls!!!

Clay is not the type of LB we need, and ET is just a weird situation that seems deeper than what we know on the surface

I think our biggest defensive issue is coaching, honestly. We're trying to fit a square peg into a round hole by running a 3-4 defense...

Secondary is confused right now. Not sure if its truly a talent issue or mostly lack of time in the new system. I'm not surprised to see so many blown coverages the first couple weeks and think you'll see some improvement once these guys get more time together in this system. It would be helpful to have some veteran leadership on the backend that could help keep guys in position after the play is called. It truly looks like some guys are running totally different plays at times.

More like a square peg into a triangular hole. The whole DL looks like it doesnt know where it should go on a play.
