Nope. The two that were awful were the second fake punt and the decision to go for two. Just downright brutal.

Second fake punt should have been called off when they saw the defensive alignment.

I agreed with the decision to go for two. We had to do it either on that TD or the next one no matter what. Going for it on the first one allowed us to see how we needed to play the rest of the game.

Let's say we kicked the extra point there. Then, it's a one-score (eight-point) game ... unless we don't make the two-point conversion on the next TD. Then, maybe there's not enough time left to go for the onside kick and get into FG range.

Dalton Shultz bounce back game...say hey to your new starting TE. What a difference a week makes.

CeeDee Lamb is gonna be super duper. Gallup great catch, Amari great catch, Noah good catch n run then taking a huge hit but held on.

ATL is a bad team.

I actually liked what I saw from Schultz better than what I have seen from Jarwin. Jarwin is a greater downfield threat, but Schultz did a great job of making himself a quick target for Dak. You need that quick outlet for your QB.

Give Props to our OTs Steele and Knight. They showed up....now for Connor Williams..

He won a whole lot more than he lost against a tough assignment. I'm all for replacing him with better, but let's not pretend the whole game or even 90 percent of it was bad for him.

Once it went 8 or 9 yards they should've jumped on it before it went 10, but up until that point they were right not to jump on it and pull a Leon Lett. (Different situation, yes, but the idea is the same.)

I agree. The mistake was waiting until Dallas could initiate contact with the ball. Nothing wrong with not risking jumping on it early and creating a loose ball situation, but they shouldn't have waited the full 10 yards.

I don't see how it's padding stats when you're trying to mount a comeback. Also, it's obvious that MM is an aggressive coach. He's figuring out Dak, his Oline, his receiver, etc. He's had one draft, he can't draft his defense in one draft. Just give this guy some time, please.I think Dak impressed him a lot yesterday.

Crappy luck in first half. Good luck in second.

Falcons had a complete brain cramp of epic proportions on special teams when we did an onside kick. We get the ball... Go down field. Z nails FG for the win

Falcon meltdown considering being up 28-3 and losing in Super bowl...to being up by 15 with a little over 5 minutes and losing to cowboys will be hard to shake

And now we know he can't complete a pass either....yeah.....I'm thinking it might be time. Problem is..I don't like the idea of switching out holders mid season either.

:banghead:

Yup. Only reason why I think it's best to stay with him, for now.

I don't really understand why McMarthy is being blamed for what happened. Turnovers put us in a hole. We tried some things to overcome that (the fake punts) and they backfired on us.

It was not the fake punts that made MM terrible (though that playcall was abhorrent). It was the predictable play calling on both offense and defense, especially on defense (though the 1st down run became kind of a joke), that reminded everyone of exactly what Rodgers said about him "he has a low football IQ" and that game showed it. Being too predictable was his primary problem in GB and once again he was insanely predictable and for all his talk of having "learned" in his time away it has not shown in these past 2 weeks.
