Love the Unpredictability

I love what McCarthy is doing. Laying the groundwork to not know what to expect from his team. He is not status quo. He is the anti-Garrett. When you play the Cowboys, you know that they have 4 downs to get 10 yards, not 3. You never know if they are gonna punt even though the punter is in there. Just because the Zuerlein is lining a kick up, it doesn't mean he will attempt one. This is gonna pay dividends down the road. And the great thing is that we have the offense to cover up the mistakes should one happen. It's a new era of Cowboys football!!

My nerves were so bad during this game with the turnovers and then the failure on the aggressiveness. McCarthy, showed a belief in the offense and his QB that I have not seen since Jimmy Johnson was head coach.

I swear I was wore out after the game. Even my soul was tired.

have we made any of these gambles yet? I could be wrong but al I am recalling is failed fakes and missed 4th downs.

I’m all for taking risks but if they always end in failure the risks are not worth it

Definitely a plus to keep teams guessing in most cases. Lets try not to get to crazy though, if they would have done anything but kick or attempt that FG...omg

I almost couldn't watch the winning field goal I was so nervous, haven't had that nervous felling in a while..

Most entertaining Cowboys game in a decade. If we could just start playing with 60 minutes remaining instead of about 35 minutes remaining, we would be on to something.

I liked the fake punt (pass). That was a great call, poorly executed.

They were ready for the fake run. It was too great of a distance to fake it after they had just faked the first one.

The aggressive calls help the punt returner. The defenders can’t cheat off like they normally would.

It also helps the team confidence level to believe their coach has faith in them. It’s not like a run with 4th and a half yard to go. You should get the half yard every tine with Zeke running the ball.

i think these kinds of moves work better when you have a lead. they're not as likely to be smelled out. it's like poker. it's easier to bluff when you're the chip leader.

I think he is also teaching his young team, that we will do everything possible to win, pull out all the stops and never accept that we lost a game. I questioned some of the 4th down attempts, but I think he is pushing the team to learn that winning at all costs is all that matters.....

Love how that disaster yesterday is somehow disguised as good coaching.

I'm scared as to what he may try to pull moving ahead.

I really thought the schemes would be much improved on each side of the ball....not simply taking dopey chances when they arent likely to succeed.

I have one idea as to how this guy won a ring....Aaron Rodgers.

MM basically blew the game twice in two games. Miracle recovery doesnt change that.

I do like the aggresiveness, however, but the stupidity has to go.

Will see what happens next game, will MM be more conservative since the did not work. Or will he try it again. Catch them off guard and law of averages allows it to work.
