Liverpool look like **** smh. Leeds will be fun to watch
Yeah, Liverpool defended like me and my mates. I 'm guessing that was day 1 rust. As for Leeds, the cat's out the bag and they didn't even get 1 point that was the minimum they deserved. They will entertain but be unlucky losers on a regular basis. Much like Villa last season.

Real statement from Liverpool yesterday against Chelsea. The gulf in class was vast. Chelsea had legitimate reasons for a sub-par performance and they will improve but they were light years behind Liverpool in that game.

ROFL.... what????

Christensen made a stupid mistake that went for Red and ruined a perfectly good game between two sides that'll likely be in the title chase. Chelsea was the more dangerous team in the 1st half keeping shape and counter attacking for the better chances. The final score wasn't at all indicative of where the teams are.

"It's always a tough game here. I liked the first half. It was two teams that wanted to play, create, defend and make things happen," Liverpool manager Jurgen Klopp said after the match.

"They were the dominant side without goals but then a massive game-changer in the last seconds which was good for us. We had to adapt to that and we did."

I don’t think Chelsea will be in the title race because they still have defensive issues as well as GK issues. This should still be between City and Liverpool. Chelsea will improve though.

Chelsea's ambition is top 4. They are a couple of years away from a proper title challenge. They are well behind Liverpool and Man City. 3rd and 4th place are up for grabs. Chelsea, Man Utd, Arsenal, Spuds, Everton, Leicester are all in with a shout.

Another mental weekend. Joke penalties at Brighton and Tottenham, Man City letting in 5, Chelsea looking all at sea, what is going on? It seems as though having no crowds at games equals 8 goals per game. Very strange times.

It’s really impressive how many young Americans are at big clubs at the moment. USMNT has a bright future coming quicker than many know
Yes the average age is 22 years old. Hopefully they can put it together with the high expectations that come along with it.

That's because they are led by the American Pulsic, lol.
I loved Chelsea when Pulisic was like 10.
I was on these forums talking Chelsea when he was still a school boy.

He has played all of 8 minutes thus far this season.

But having the best American join my EPL team then be their best player(when he has been healthy)? Amazing.

Yes it is and I think it has garnered interest here in America. He is still young and hopefully he can stay healthy.

Obviously we all knew about CP since he first went to Germany but mann the kids are loaded.
Reyna and Dest look like near Pulisic level players.
Steffen has the makings of a Tim Howard type keeper.
Sargent needs to show more at Forward but the USMNT can lay claim to their first ever golden generation.

The USA has had some good, scrappy teams and Donovan, Dempsey, Howard and others have been outstanding at times but never have they put together a large group of young players who developing at this pace and in the right places (largely Germany).
