I think the injury to Tak McKinley (SP) was big for them their defense lost a lot of its bite after that. On the Zeke run how did that Safety Kazee stay in the game he looked like he got knocked the F(&*^* out.

I'd would file this under Atlanta taking their foot off the gas (as they know how in a legendary way) as opposed to Dallas being good, or better.

They are a seriously flawed team and it's a great concern of mine that McCarthy hasnt a clue what he is doing.

They didn't take their foot off the gas. We stopped shooting ourselves in the foot.

This was a game that really showed that we have a powerful offense. To score 40 with both starting tackles out is really something.

I cannot recall feeling as emabarrased about winning a game as yesterday.
All of the guys on SNF sure liked throwing the word "lucky" around and I agreed. They made enough mistakes to lose two games and ATL should feel as bad as they did after the SB meltdown.

Lol!!! Did you ever play? Not just on the team, but actually play? If you did and you are still embarrassed I feel sorry for you! Those are some of the best games to win. The team never quit, they stuck together. Games like this bring teams together. I loved it!!!! Never apologize for a win!!!!!

- i thought we kept pushing and pressing the attack both run and pass.. and we were in a hurry up mode and pace that i thought added to the wear down
of the ATL defense too.

- Great performance by dak that included how he so well ball handles and fools defenses on RPO near the goal line. And Dak was quickly pitching it to several various targets all across the field - and it wasn't dink and dunk either, we pushed the ball vertically and took some deep shots-connected too.

- As what it seems for whatever reason, we become more aggressive and daring at Home ..but we go somewhat conservative On the Road.
Be Nice to seem a similar mode and attack when we visit Seattle next week.

- i commend stand out players such as Hill, Joe Thomas,- down the final stretch i saw Griffin, (only sack) and Aldon come up.

- As much injury and sub issues as we had on the OL, it's admirable that despite backups such as Knight and Steele asked to start, we still amassed
j40 points, ...and 570 yards of offense.

im amazed that even with our 2 young OTs starting...our much maligned oline only gave up 1 sack.
hats off to those 2 youngn's fightn' their ***** off.

and hats off to this defense for holding atlanta to only 10pts in the 2nd half.
we get thru this early part of the season...i think this defense will find their way.
hopefully.

i hope we continue this pace on offense.
defense.......its gonna be a wild ride til they get comfortable with what they're doing.

Unfortunately some of the same issues from last year are still present - we struggle at pressuring the QB, we struggle to get off the field on 3rd.4th downs, we struggle to generate turnovers.

It's only two games but the trend when looking back at last year, isn't great.

yep. We’re on pace for a whopping 8 takeaways. Baltimore on the other hand is on pace for 40. ..shrugs..

I think the defense still has demons to expel from the Garrett era. Their mindset has to do a complete 360 to become ball hawks and fumble warriors.

i have growing concerns that this Nolan defense may resemble the Rob Ryan defense ... meant to be creative and exotic, but instead vast confusion
and more self-destructive ..rather than disruptive to opposing teams.

thus far vs the last two quality starting QBs, it simply does not take away what opposing teams want to do. ...

I disagree. Dallas outscored Atlanta in every quarter after the first quarter. Dallas multiple mistakes in the first quarter is what made it seem like Atlanta let off the gas. Without the 100 fumbles and 85 fake punts, Dallas destroys Atlanta and that shows by outscoring Atlanta 40-19 in the 2nd, 3rd and 4th quarters

Posters concerned about the D, keep in mind there are a lot of new/different players learning to play together and trust each other. Just 2 games.....considering everything they had to fight through, I thought they played a good game. They WILL get better......
