Griffen is at fault for even listening to a reporter. Cavanaugh is at fault for not just letting Griffen vent and ignoring him.

Not sure what Cav said that was so painful, especially after he respectfully and supportively commented further. Sometimes you gotta give your balls a tug.

Just me but it's waaaay too early to call any players out ........they would have just completed their 2nd preseason game in a normal season.

Same guys like you complain that dallas isnt better or tougher to end a season. Lol maybe it is better to start slow and end tough. Dallas doesn't know much about that though.
So they can either be tough/good at the beginning or end of the season? Not both?

I guess it’s too much to ask/expect a professional athlete to actually be productive for the entire season. So sorry

I'm wondering how Griffen has time to vent at a journalist on twitter when our DC should be kicking all their A**** for that **** they put on the field the last 2 weeks.... Come on Griff who gives a damn what a reporter says you guys been Pants on TV 2 weeks in a row....Better get your S*** together this next QB will crush your soul if you guys play like that.

Can’t disagree with you there. Griffin hasn’t been a monster, but he hasn’t seemed to play terribly either
No he hasn't and I think Jeff is probably gauging him based on what he was last year for the Vikings. Which aye he's fair game no doubt but I'm not sure realistically where he was suppose to be at by week 2 of the season. He doesn't look like he doesn't belong. I think we expect more and we should but I'm not sure if it was going to come this early in the season.

Give him till at least 5 games into the season before giving up on a player. I have faith that both Griffen as well as Poe just need time to get into a groove. Good news is that Hill is flashing more and more and could break out as a monster at some point this season if not next season which would be huge payoff. As for Tank...not holding my breath for another 14.5 sack season out of him. Ill be happy if he gives us 9 and picks up his run defense.

For sure. The defense has been terrible as a unit so far, no doubt on that. But I’m reasonably optimistic that they can start to gel a little more by week 5-6 and become respectful at least. Lots of change there, so it may take a little time to get things where they’d like it

I hope so for our sake. They got a nice test out the gate with the Seahawks, Falcons and Rams. I hope to see some progression this week even though this is the best team we've faced yet in this short years.

Let's wait until week 16 before we critique a player from week 2.

oh Griffin,..you gotta un-involve yourself from social media in that way ... do not engage with critics and bickerers,.. gripe among yourself and those closer to ya,.. but the minute you let it be known how sensitive to public criticism and leave yourself open like that,... it's gonna be a hell rain storm at ya..

I'm sure this has been said, but the real disappointment on the d-line is Demarcus Lawrence
