We can thank this fraud for keeping Garrett’s DNA in this offense. With all the mistakes and blown plays we had today, we had the momentum on the scoring drive that put us up by 1 point. But we should have scored a TD there instead of a FG and gone up by 5 instead of 1. Thank You Boy Genius for a sequence of: calling a reverse that didn’t work and then 3 long sideline passes in a ROW to the same side ? ***. Those are not easy passes to complete and 2 of the 3 were thrown out of bounds. Why did this idiot go away from what was working to call difficult plays to execute. Moore just killed our momentum and put the defense back on the field with a 1 point lead with more time on the clock instead of giving them a 5 point lead with less time on the clock. With this team, you want to rely on the offense, not the defense. And the offensive firepower is neutered with Moore calling plays. And all the screens and reverses he called that failed ? Kellen Moore sucks. Huge mistake for MM not to bring in a fresh OC. I bet we have Jerry to thank for that too ?

Well, while we’re on the topic, who should/can we hire next year if we were given the opportunity to pick a new OC?

Amazing these guys still blame Garrett, after his work with the Giants. Moore is running Linehan’s offense, which is tailored to Dak, including essentially the complete elimination of the 5-7 step drop, which was and is a staple in the Coryell, including with Romo. Dallas has become a top 5 play-action team when Garrett was, in his last official year of 2012 as play caller, bottom five and 30th rushing team, which has materialized once again in NY. Dak never played for Garrett “the play-caller”.

These OCs are limited by Dak. This guy sees more man coverage than pretty much any QB in the league. If his OL doesn’t give him over 3 seconds to throw, he’s a mess.

There was one play that really irked me. It was a WR screen to left where all the OL were blocking to their left which took bunch of the defenders to that side. Then they threw it to the WR(Lamb?) to that side for a screen. Of course the WR had no chance since there were like 8 defenders already running towards him. I think we got like 1 yard on that play.

That play may work against a team with bad LBs but Seahawks' strength on their defense is their LBs. It was almost as thought the play was called without thinking who they were playing against.

I've been watching him for a while.

Not patting myself on the back too hard but my previous "guy" was Joe Brady. He killed it at LSU and is already the OC in Carolina.

I believe he was Dak's position coach at Mississippi State. He runs the Dan Mullen (Urban Meyer really) offense. Brian is what many here assumed/hoped/pretended Kellen Moore would be.

The part that I had issue with is when they were driving down in field goal range to go ahead late in the 4th and they pass on every play. I get that zeke wasnt getting many yards, but they should have milked that clock as much as possible. They could have run so much more time off, but they blew through 3 downs and hardly any time and didnt move at all. Total blunder in clock management IMO.

yeah, maybe the quarterback sucks and this all the oc can run with him. naw he sucks. more screens so slower reader doesn't get scared when pressured.

I don’t disagree with the topic.. the offense and play calling could definitely be improved.


But I think that if the defense was even halfway competent, we wouldn’t be complaining about Moore hardly at all.

This offense is crazy proficient compared to the rest of the league. The problem is that, to win, it has to nearly be perfect.

Are you missing the opportunities that left meat on the bone? Are you missing the failed reverses ran with frequency? Are you missing the call against our own end zone? Are you missing the come out of halftime play called?
