We spend so much time and rightfully so on the worst defense in NFL history, but the special teams unit isn’t far behind which includes such an awful punter that should have been cut years ago

That's it.

Send the Cowboys Special Teams unit on a field trip to Nashville so they can learn to properly play as a Special Teams Unit.

Jones' leg is Jones' leg.

It wasn't great before. It's not getting better from what I can see.

Pollard isn't a KR.

Bones can be the best Special Teams coach in the world and he can't make Jones be the guy he used to be. Keeping Pollard in? Eh, that's another thing.

I'm still confused why Pollard is the primary kick returner. Makes NO sense.

I can live with Jones, he won't cost the Cowboys games like the defense will.

What I don’t get is what is Chris Jones good at? I could see if he was great at angling kicks ect. But he isn’t even good at that.

Thats what gets me. How do the coaches watch Pollard and say to themselves "yah that's best player for this job on the team"?!?!?!?!

Having Chris Jones as our punter costs an average of about 5-6 yards per punt and is bottom 5 in the league. Pollard costs us about the same on kick returns. He’s come out of the end zone a dozen times already this season when it’s only been required 2-3 times.

I think Bones envisioned Jones could do a lot of the things Hecker did with the Rams. Jones is athletic but he’s terrible at his main job duty - punting the football. Surely we can upgrade that position. No idea why they aren’t doing it

I saw a punter kick the ball 70 yards in tonight's game.

In Chris Jones's wet dreams can he put a ball up like that.
He is awful.....yet way more qualified to do his job than anyone else named Jones in the entire organization

Youd think that Wilson would get a look.

I cringe every time w Pollard that he may not know where the ball is.

He seems to be very timid on returns and I wonder if that's not in his head during his RB snaps. Hard to say.

Either way he is on the list of disappointing Cowboys this year.

Terrible. Pretty sure we have the worst starting field position through 5 games. Our punter sucks at punting. We gave the Giants 3 points for too many men on the punt return team. If it wasn’t for Fleming not being set a split second late, we lose. Bones hasn’t changed a thing and might have made the unit worse. And that stupid squib quick against the Browns, and not pinning them deep. The list goes on and on. Oh and Tony Pollard still returning quicks is a joke as well
