without dak to make his crap look good , now we will see what kind of OC he really is, which is not very good.
He is too young and has no experience lol 1 yr as qb coach, and jones boys make him OC.:eek:
Romo used to make JG look good, then when no romo you see what they really are.

A couple of things that really stink.. Kellen Moore is a DUD OC.. seriously has no idea how to create space through design.. and his play calling is woeful, just woeful. Nolan is a joke.. seriously.. our defence isn't star studded but they are getting beaten before the ball is snapped half the time. it is a train wreck. MM has failed to impress me.. I was very hopeful after the departure of clapper.. but wowsers.. I haven't seen ANY indication that MM has any clue how to coach a modern football team. We have gone backwards in EVERY phase of the game.

Next is the fumbles by Zeke. Wow. 5 in 4 years and now 4 in 6 games.. something is not right. Also he is under conditioned. There is no doubt he is not playing with the same energy he did as a rookie. I also think he has NO faith in Moore.. and knows that this is a 'pass first' offence and that limits his ability to do what he does. Moore gives him 2 runs.. and if he doesn't bust out.. then we abandon the run immediately. I think this has led to Zeke feeling the pressure to do something special every play.. and he has failed badly. Right now.. a liability. The rookie O Line also doesn't help.

Right now.. we need to realise that this game is won and lost on the LOS. We recognised that ten years ago and built our OLine.. that is what gave us the shot in 2014-2018. A range of factors meant we never got the success the team/squad deserved. We are now at the point of going back to the starting gate and recruiting for the OLine and DLine all over again. That is why I wouldn't be paying Dak.

Also.. how quickly people forget how much Dak stunk it up behind a banged up Oline just a few seasons ago. This offence was built for dak. The playbook was built for Dak. I still think Dalton has the tools to get the job done. The question is whether that is a benefit or whether we bottom out and start a rebuild with some top end talent this year.

The lack of star power on D hurts.. and Tank Lawrence needs to be fired out of a cannon.. everyone loads on Zeke/Dalton etc.. but seriously.. the Dude takes almost half the cap allocated for D and does what each week? We are lucky if he has one decent play a game. Shocking.

If you must be honest, we should be undefeated under Dak.

It isnt hate floaty, I gave him a pass last year, but this year it is all passing, he doesnt know how to use the run at all.
name one other OC who became a OC after 1 year as a position coach! He wasnt ready.
I know your a kellen fan, and you need to forget the stats and rankings, and look at what happens on the field.

anyone can look good with a all pro line and star receivers, good rb, and good qb.
Now is the time a coach has to innovate and adjust to what they have, and kellen is failing big time at that.
He isnt giving the line any help at pass blocking, and then passes too much.
they cant handle blitz's or any type of pass rush besides the ordinary 4 man rush.
Kellen is in charge of the whole offense , not just calling plays.

The offensive mess we saw tonite is all on him, it was pitiful.

good post, I agree, but I dont blame the def players, because nolan is not a good DC , he is using the players in the wrong ways.
I think the players have given up on nolan, and he needs to be let go. And kellen isnt ready to be a OC, MM needs to take over play calling and the offense.

I’m not judging Dalton after one game. Dak had years in this system and well earned chemistry with his receivers, knowledge of how they move and run patterns, what they do when he scrambles.

Dalton is a veteran, but still first year with this system and these receivers, no preseason snaps, and very little experience with the ones.

Cardinals were smart enough to bring disguise and blitzes all game so he didn’t have time to get comfortable. He will get better each game, and the offense will improve. Despite the costly turnovers, the defense still must improve. The front 7 has to stop the runs up the middle and on the perimeter, and Worley/Lewis need as little exposure in the secondary as possible.

I'm not sure what people expect. Your starting QB is done, the entire O line is done, the defense is absolutely garbage etc........

Dalton isn't overcoming that. He's a statue. He's the kind of player you feel good having as a back up for a couple of games, tops.

And Elliott needs to lose the long sleeves and hold to the ****** ball. It's embarrassing.

We aren’t expecting to win the super bowl with this team.

But this team and defense is NOT EVEN COMPETITIVE.

Rams ... dominated us
Falcons ... lucky onside kick. Defense was horrendous
Seahawks ... couldn’t stop anybody all game.
Browns ... owned by the Browns at home. Lucky to make a comeback when they went into pilot mode.
Giants ... lucky toss ups late to win
Cardinals ... dominated at home

This team not only stinks. They have no heart and aren’t even competitive
