Nobody and I mean absolutely no one has ever said any such thing. As I keep repeating.. the Cowboys were averaging 15.4 points in the first half of games this year until last night. Dak had 180 yards and two TDs in the first quarter against the Browns before the wheels came off . I suppose the Browns didn't give a F in the first quarter? And of course the Giants didn't care at all about the 24 points scored against them in the first half. Nah.. you right.. Maybe I should also mention that they scored 37 points in that "close" game against the Giants and 40 in a "close" game against the Falcons.. Nah never mind..

Hot start and then fading just to have get padded stats late isn't exactly helping your case here. You suck at this.

Look how hurt your feelings are because we looked like dog vomit last night without Dak!!

Ahahahahahahahahahahaha!!

HAHAHA

Makes a thread praising Dak despite having a 1-3 record this season and going 8-8 last season just to feel vindicated

Have fun winning a SB paying Dak $40M next season on a bum ankle and no cap space to get a legitimate defense

Oh wait, we couldn't even win a NFCDG with Dak on a rookie contract!

But it's alright, he's leading the league in yards!!!

GO COWBOYS!

How meaningless was it last night?

....it tells you there is more to a freakin' QB stat than the yards he puts up. There have been multiple 5,000 yard passers since 2011. Again, it's not an important stat anymore. Defenses around the league this year are garbage. You're all terrible and reaching. When you get down to "Dak is leading in passing yards!" - yes, when you have multiple games of throwing the ball over 40 and 50 times, that's going to be a thing.

If any of you knew how to argue, you would say the passing yards show how crap our defense is that we are forced to pass this much. I mean, it would still be leaving out context, but it would still be a better argument.

Yes, because we have such great QB alternatives with this defence. Great. Trevor Lawrence or the BYU QB can't save us. Dak isn't the problem. We have to fix the defence. Our draft SHOULD be either all defence or 1 olineman and the rest defence. That's the only way this defence is fixed.

There is a valid point that with how depleted of talent our defense is, putting $40 mil into a QB at this point might not be the smartest move.

Was it meaningless when every game we’ve been in that Dak started came down to the wire versus getting curb stomped 38-10 with Dalton?

Is that what you mean by “meaningless”?

LOL taking my argument out of context. I never argued that this team is better with Andy Dalton than with Dak Prescott. Learn to read :D
I'm saying we'll never WIN a SB with Dak Prescott.
You realize the point of all of this is to WIN THE SUPER BOWL right? You want a participation trophy or something? Hahaha. Maybe a TEAM WITH QB LEADING THE LEAGUE IN PASSING YDS trophy?

Let’s see who those 5000 yard passers were since 2011(so from 2012 on):

Drew Brees 2012
Peyton Manning:2013
Drew Brees 2013
Drew Brees 2016
Ben Roethlisberger 2018
Pat Mahomes 2018
Jameis Winston 2019

So other than Jameis Winston, it’s been the best of the best doing it, not just some guys.

Yes, Dak is better than than a 30+ year old Dalton at this point. How many more times are you going to post about this? This still isn't giving context. Also, Dak would have been slaughtered behind that line last night. He already fumbled 3 times in 3 straight games before the Giants and he wasn't even getting pressured THAT much. How many fumbles would he have given up last night? This has been a problem with Dak, he doesn't sense pressure and gets the ball stripped.

The game last night wasn't due to Dalton alone, it had to do with the line getting abused all night. Dak would have struggled.

Further embarrassing yourself with your 1st grade English skills....
Read my post again and try to read slowly and carefully
I never said Dak is a bad QB, I said he's not good enough to win the SB especially not with a $40M cap hit to the team the only QB i'd take at that price is Patrick Mahomes, who consequentially went to an AFCCG in 2018 with a bottom-half defense. Dak? 1-3.
Please tell me how we can fix a defense when we're paying the QB $40M, go on... I'm waiting
:omg:

Nice leaving out Stafford there, genius. Also Big Ben wasn't great in 2018, if you actually watched some Steelers games.

Is it meaningless that Dak has played behind this train wreck OL all season and produced epic passing performances versus Dalton looking like a deer in the headlights?
