Gotta imagine the front office is considering Zeke this offseason and do what the Rams did with Gurley and eat his contract for 1 season (although Dallas will probably still take a cap hit in 2022 for Zeke).

They may even limit Zeke's touches more to "save" what he has left for 2021.

I'm betting Pollard's workload is going to be increasing significantly for the rest of the year.

Yeah, they can't get rid of Zeke until after next season.
I'd say not until after 2022 at the earliest. If they cut Zeke after 2021 his dead money would be $10.8M ($16.5M if they keep him). They aren't doing that if he is still good.

We need to see more Pollard if for no other reason than to save some wear and tear on Zeke.

Zeke isn’t going anywhere for two more years. Best thing is to not wear him out, yes by inserting Pollard.

Zeke will have re-dedicate himself to taking care of his body (weight, speed) this off season, But he will have to seek someone out to help him.

I suspect Zeke has a good game this week and ends this talk for a while...

Ahh, the hopeless optimistic. We said the same thing last week. “Zeke will have to become the leader of this team.” “He might dominate the Cardinals.” And he fumbles 2 times . I hope you are right, but I dread you are wrong. This team is headed down past rock bottom. That’s right. Past it.

Why take on a higher dead cap? They would be better off benching him than taking on twice the cap hit.

Would like to see less of Pollard on ST.

Pollard has been just as bad as Zeke. He cant hold on to the damn ball either, and his decision making is awful.

Zeke will play out his contract with the Cowboys. The Jones' like him and won't trade him. They probably won't offer another contract though.

This front office has already proven that it does not operate this way. When was the last time a player was cut because he wasn't playing up to potential? Has it happened in the last 20+ years? The sad fact in all of this is the narrative that this is something that can be changed at the drop of a hat. It cannot be changed because in order for it to change Jerry needs to change and he has never shown a capacity for it.

I hope not. He’s average.
