what I wish could happen at this point with the OTs, ..Cam Erving starting at LT,.and Brandon Knight (upon his return) starting at RT,.. Steele now key reserve at both OT roles.
- And i'd like to see reserve McGovern sharing time with Williams at LG at some point of last month December and sheer tank time.
But unless there's vast rash of injuries, McGov wont come close to seeing time again on the playing field.
- But new OL coach Joe Philibin seems to have a way of thinking and operating that settles him on Steele
remaining as starting RT.
- I tend to think he really likes rookie Steele over either Erving and Knight. I'm guessing the same traits
that Cowboys like about Steele at draft time, such as his athleticism and his length, they still like
about him to remain as a starter.
What Steele lacks in strength core, techniques and game experience, they probably think he'll eventually make it up in the long run. And they seem determined to stick and stay with him as such.
But he's surrendered a sack in each game he's started this year.
-Knight doesn't have essential athleticism and really is probably more of an OG interior type than he is
as an OT. But the time and performance he's put in when asked to start outside as brought some
encouragement. He's sustained himself at LT for the most part. He appears technically sound.
