How awesome would it be if the Eagles had their 6th pick dropped to 32nd as a penalty. You don't do that in the NFL, let alone during primetime. New York Media will be all over it.

Just looking at stats, Hurts wasn’t any better than his backup.
35% completion rate. 72 yards. 0 TDs and an INT.

Maybe the Eagles had seen enough of him lately as well.

The NBA just calls it "load management". Sucks to be a NBA fan and pay good money for a ticket to then NOT see the top players in the game. Of course this covid season not withstanding.

Brandon Graham was still in after Hurts was pulled and got hurt. Not significant but imagine if he did get a big injury playing in a game they were tanking? How would everyone on that team feel?

I think that's realistic. Defense would have kept us from winning many more than that.

shall I go through what MM has gone through on the field? This is my point as much as I think MM should be fired after this screw up today, his cards were stacked against him greather than Rivera's, health aside. Fortunately for WFT they have developed a terrific defensive core which somehow was enough to get them to the playoffs.

Quite possibly. I know this sounds odd, but I think he went for it because he figured they would not convert. A young QB that close to the endzone against that pass rush. The Eagles also punted on a different occasion instead of trying a 52 yard FG. Why?
