S Caden Sterns - Texas

This is my choice for our 3rd round pick. We need a S, and this guy looks solid. 6'1" and 205 lbs. Looking forward to his combine. This is a player that could help us at S. My dream first 3 picks would be Surtain, Daviyon Nixon (DT Iowa) or Jay Tufele (DT USC), and Sterns. CB, DT, and S. That would be a great way to fix our D in a hurry. Then we just need a LB.

I think he's more of a third day pick, perhaps someone to consider with our 4th round comp pick.

I could see him slipping to the 4. He'd be a golden pick there imo. I think he's an underrated safety in this draft.

Graded out as the 133rd Safety in college this year on PFF, 66.2 overall 62 in coverage.

5 star recruit coming out of high school. You wont confuse him with former Longhorn Earl Thomas but he had a solid college career.

No thanks. Stays hurt and Texas doesn't teach their DB's how to tackle. Dude stayed diving at receivers ankles and missing.
