If you said to any GM, including Jerry, "Hey, you can have Dak for 40 Million a year or Russ for 42 million a year" every single one would take Russ.

There are levels to this and Dak is only looking up at Russ's level.

If Dallas has no interest I'd still try and and somehow use this as leverage to sign Dak. "Hey Dak, you wanna let Russ take over everything you've worked for or do you wanna finish what you started?"

I know it won't happen, but I would certainly try my best to make it happen if I were Dallas. I personally think he's the best, if not the 2nd best in the game.

Of course, the Joneses focus on on thing at a time and aren't capable of looking at the big picture. It's why they have completely mishandled this Dak situation to this point.

Any responsible football guy would explore any and all options, for leverage if nothing else.

But Little Enos has botched this since day one. Like most recent contracts he's 'handled'.

I’ll say this..

If you’re going to pay a ton for a QB I’d rather it be this then Dak.

But...

This is a lateral move for Wilson..

He would be leaving Seattle to basically come play in Southern Seattle. We are similar to what he has played under and had no post season success since signing his deal.

Also.. Dallas has a long way to go before competing for a championship and as good as Wilson is I don’t think he puts us in that conversation even though he’s much better than Dak.

Meh....no thanks....too old....maybe if we had a Defense.

--------Dak has the potential to be just as good as Russell

For the 1000th time.....you can not suddenly learn accuracy!!!

Lol you guys are so close to finding this obvious answer but then your brain shorts out and you just say we need to hurry up and sign Dak.

Go ahead and take your victory lap when Seattle hasn’t traded him and Houston hasn’t traded Deshaun yet.

And if your argument is that Russell Wilson’s contract is what is holding Seattle back. Then I’ll just tell you you’re wrong and we can move forward from there.

you can’t honestly argue that Russell’s contract is holding Seattle back when their drafting has been atrocious for the past decade
