Here is my guess on the first round, as of today. Threw in Dallas's next 2 picks also.
Give me your feed back, criticisms, applause and/or opinions. Debating is fun and informative.

1 Jags- Lawrence
2 Jets- Wilson
3 49rs- Fields
4 Denver- Lance (Atl receives 9, 40, 114 2022 th)
5 Bengles- Sewell
6 Dolphins- Chase
7 Lions- Waddle
8 Panthers- Surtain
9 Falcons- Parsons
10 Jags- Pitts (Dallas receives 25, 33, 106)
11 NYG- Slater
12 eagles- Smith
13 Chargers- Darrisaw
14 Vikings- Ojulari
15 Patriots- Jones
16 Cardinals- Barmore
17 Raiders- JOK
18 Dolphins- Vera-Tucker
19 Washington- Bateman
20 Bears- Horn
21 Colts- Collins
22 Titans- Cosmi
23 Jets- Ossai
24 Steelers- Humphrey
*25 Cowboys- Phillips
26 Browns- Paye
27 Ravens- Jenkins
28 Saints- Davis
29 Packers- Farley
30 Bills- Oweh
31 Chiefs- Leatherwood
32 Bucs- Onwuzurike
*33 Cowboys- Moehrig
*44 Cowboys- Stokes

25 Phillips: I know a bunch of ya'll will flip about this pick, but the dude is the purest pass rusher in this class. If he didn't have the concussion issues he'd be the #1 defensive player in this class and be a top 10 pick. And as it is, if his medicals check out as expected, he could easily go much, much higher than 25. Dallas needs that stud pass rusher on the D-line. Has been true since we lost Ware. Seriously thought about Farley, Moehrig and Jenkins here, but couldn't pass on that kind of talent.

33 Moehrig: Moehrig is the best FS in this class and a huge need for this team. He could easily go before this. He's actually one of the main reasons to make the trade back with the Jags, as he'd likely fall in between our current picks. Passing on him at 25 was risky, but having the fall back option of Grant made taking Phillips reasonable. Taking him at 33 feels like a steal.

44 Stokes: CB is still arguably the biggest need of this team and Stokes will fit in very well with our new cover 3 zone system. He's is very fast and would compliment Diggs very well. Melifonwu could be an option here and I'd be fine with that, but I think they will value the speed Stokes offers.

I’d be stoked with that trio.

Not a fan of the trade back or Phillips (we don't need more injury risks on D and concussions are accumulative).

Love Moerhig and Stokes though.

I like the picks but with that trade I want at least 1st on 2022 and 2023. I mean Miami got that from the Niners and they only went down 9 spots.

so why is concussion issues a #1 pick?

Because IMHO, he's that good and most think he will check out fine medically. Many feel the concussion issue was over blown a bit due to extenuating circumstances. i.e. he never wanted to go to UCLA but his parents insisted.

I'd love it, but I think there is a big difference between giving up pick 3 for a QB vs pick 10 for a TE.

The Phillips selection is excellent. The other selections represent excellent value, as well.

Jaelan Phillips played the entire 2020 season healthy, started all 10 games, his pro-day was exceptional and 1st rate for any DL in this draft class, & there have been no pre-draft medical reports that he is an injury liability.
His aggressive play on the field this season, and the results he produced indicate he is completely healthy, and has no injury concern.

--Selected to All-America First Team by AFCA and All-America Second Team by FWAA and Associated Press
--Led Miami with 15.5 tackles for loss and eight sacks
--Started all 10 games of regular season and finished with 45 total tackles (21 solo)
--Ranked among ACC and FBS leaders in TFL
--Bednarik Award semifinalist as nation’s top defensive player
--Credited with five quarterback hurries
--Had one interception and three PBUs

Behind the scenes, I think Phillips's draft stock is rising, and teams in the early teens could easily draft him.

I know. I thought about that i posted it but I am greedy if I moving that far down for a player I believe will be at least a Pro Bowler in this league.

Love it! Been saying for weeks my #1 preference is to target teams with a high 2nd rd pick to secure one of the top 2 safeties. Jax, Jets or Miami.

Love this draft. You took a big risk dropping down that far, but I love who you ended up with.

We trade back from Kyle Pitts and this place will lose its collective mind
Jerry would lose his mind.....oh wait?

But really, the Cowboys would never trade down from Pitts especially for so little in return. On pfn teams are offering that trade down plus future high picks as well. Pitts is regarded as the second best player in the draft.
