Tom Brady beat Brees, Rodgers, and Mahomes all 3 in a Row!

Since brees is now retired, no other qb can do that.
It was a very impressive playoff run and SB.
Beat the 3 best qb's in the league and at their home stadium except for SB.

In 2007 the nyg beat Romo, Rodgers, then Brady, so that is impressive run too.I think they were all on the road
as well.

Any others?

In 93...Aikman beat Favre, Young, Kelly to win the Superbowl. All 3 in the HOF.

Yeah that was impressive. Eli beat Romo and Favre, not Rodgers. Then Brady. And that alone should tell you that teams win games, not quarterbacks.

teams win games, not quarterbacks...... yes but the qb is the key piece of the offense, and I watched both of the playoff/SB runs by eli,
and he played great in those games. He made key plays that helped his team win by just 3 points.

He was also aided by a very good defense like tom was, but the qb has to play very good in those playoff games too.
I think it is fair to say 1 qb beat the other opposing qb when they win the game, most of the time .:D

the 2007 giants had started poorly lost both games with div leader the saints, but won 8 games in a row to get in as WC.
then beat NO in div round and went on to win SB , which made 12 games in a row they won, and some guy above said brady was

The Giants did the same thing in 2007 , eerily similar, started bad, lost both games with cowboys, then beat them in div round game,
and went on to win SB, and I think they had won 7 or 8 in a row at end of season too, so wound up with 12 in a row, but not sure, they
may have had 1 loss in that 12 game run.
That is why cowboys thought they would win the game easily, as they had beat the giants twice that season, and had only lost 3 games.
They thought they were so good all they had to do was show up and play and they would surely win.:eek:
They found out other wise, and sadly that was probably the best cowboy team to make the playoffs this century, and over confidence did them in.

The other good team was the 2014 team, which I personally think was better than the 2016 team, but both met the same fate.

I agree to an extent. But they're not like pitchers. Similar to a point, but much less so. Yeah Eli played very well, got lucky once. Foles played very well too. But if both didn't have that team around them, I don't care how well they play, they're not winning.

The TB defense beat those teams. Why do you think Brady decided to go to TB? Brady is a very smart bus driver, and by that I mean he makes few mistakes dinking and dunking down the field.

I disagree, in the wash game every time wash scored and made it close game , brady and off drove for a score.
When the wash defense which is fairly good needed to stop brady they couldnt.

Same thing in Sb, KC could not stop brady and TB offense, and they fell further behind, which led to all pass plays , which TB wanted.
They knew they could get pressure on mahomes.

TB had all 3 phases working good and doing their part, that is why they could win 3 road playoff games against good teams and the best
qb's.
They cant do that with just defense. TB scored plenty of points on all the teams, plus when off goes on a slow long drive it rests their
defense, and shortens the game, and the amount of possessions the other teams off has.

The Key was TB's D. That was the most important part of their team that got them the Lombardi. You can slobber all over Brady as much as you want but it does not change that reality.
