If both guys are gone, then that means that Sewel, Parsons, or a QB is going to be available. All of those options would be fine.

Not really. Sewell won't be there. But Parsons and QBs will in that scenario. Dallas isn't drafting a QB at 10. That leaves Parsons or Slater. But then again my scenario doesn't account for anyone trading up. Which I think is sure to happen.

1. QB
2. QB
3. QB
4. Pitts
5. Sewell
6. Chase
7. Smith/Waddle
8. Horn
9. Surtain

Great so you have two QB's left and a team might be willing to trade up for one and give us something nice. If NOT then you take Parsons and high five. I think these WR's will drop to be honest.

I agree. I actually don't think Detroit is taking a WR. They could take a corner, I don't know.

I only put that as a possible scenario. But I wouldn't put a dime on it. But who knows, the Eagles might trade up to 9 to get a corner. That would complicate things.

4 QB's are definitely going in the top 10. San Fran is the lynch pin in all this. Teams wanting to trade up for a QB are going to want to wait to see who San Fran takes. If SF doesnt take their guy, someone is trading up with Atlanta or someone else. So that pushes a corner down.

I’m prepared for about anything. My guess is if surtain is at 10 that’s the pick, but if he goes then it creates an obvious trade down opportunity for the cowboys. That means either a QB, pitts, chase, or Sewell likely drops and now teams who never thought they had a chance at those guys are making calls. Both scenarios are very realistic.

I personally hope some QB desperate (and really stupid GM) offers us a boatload of picks.

CB is more of a moderate need than a severe need. Severe needs are upgrades at DL, LB and S. I'd say upgrade at OT is a moderate need, fingers crossed either Collins or Smith make it through the season.
Cornerback is a day one starter

LB, DL and S are all role players year one.

If either Surtain or Horn were a generational talent, it wouldn't be a discussion. Hopefully if we pick either of them they'll be able to solidify our CB position alongside Diggs for the next decade.
How do you know they won’t be?

Nightmare scenario
Unfortunately we don't have the Raiders picking in the top 9 and making their usual head scratcher selection.

just jinxed it. We are absolutely trading up for Pitts now that this thread has been made.

I think its going to go pretty much exactly like that the only that could work to our favor is if Cincy gets stupid and selects chase instead of Sewell.

any DB we draft is going to be in the NIck/Dime packages.

Brown, Lewis, and Diggs are the top 3.

If we draft a T, we dont have to worry about Collins taking another year off.
