That’s possible
When you have a draft that doesn’t have a single dline prospect worth picking in the top half you are gonna see CB become a hot commodity
If you can’t fix your pass rush you better fix your coverage
And I think many teams will think that way
Now I think it’s probable one will be there but it’s certainly possible neither will

Panthers will select someone to help Darnold. Rather that be an o-lineman or WR. Still think Broncos could take a QB. Teddy is a good player but not not a franchise QB. They could also take lineman. I believe Surtain and Horn will be there.

Every draft has its quirks. I do not remember a single one that went mostly according to script in the first round. A run on a position starts and everything changes.

Booger likes to make a splash and get some attention and that was delivered to him last year and doing what the media expects him to do with either of those two players is a draft yawn.

If you gave every person covering this draft their top 3 wishes, the most in common wish would be for the Cowboys to trade up for Pitts. The moist talked about player in this draft to the most talked about team is a dream come true.

The majority of the Dallas Cowboys fans, especially the ones that buy the tickets and merch, are follow the ball fans just like the owner.

If they stay at 10 and take one of the corners, where's the buzz in that?

Taking one of the corners or Parsons at 10 is the smart football move, that addresses glaring needs on the team but that is not nearly as exciting as Pitts because he's the most talked about draft pick.

This is Manziel for all the same reasons, excitement, marketability and a sure fire center ring act for Booger's Big Top.

I am not as confident as you are, I am going to have that same weird feeling I had watching that Manziel draft and the tension building with each pick, only this will not take a slong because he's going before the 10 pick. I am just not certain that won't be the Cowboys picking him.

There is one major difference in this draft and that Manziel one. Booger had a room full of people trying to keep him from Manziel. Who's going to do that with Pitts? McC? Moore?

With 4 QBs, Pitts, 2 OL, 2 WRs and either Horn or Surtain gone, the only way I see us not getting one of these guys is the result of only two possibilities:

1)We completely drop the ball and reach or trade down, or....
2)Another team is targeting us...

Of course the mere SUGGESTION of someone trying to negatively impact our draft will automatically bring out the snarky scoffing of the usual suspect(s)....

But applying to this years draft Id argue you haven’t followed any of the vibe from our ownership, local media and beat writers if you don’t agree what our intentions are in this draft and 1st round.
