Yeah they will look at 'lower' rated CBs who are built for press coverage. Sherman was drafted high either. I do wonder if signing him to a 1-year deal is a fall back, though have to wonder what Sherman would be willing to sign for.

He's a slightly better version of Trysten Hill. Don't fall for it.


He showed so much promise as a freshman. He never got better IMO. He wins in pass rush with quickness and good hands. However, he won't hold a gap to save his life. We don't need more Marinelli-specials. We need guys who can put interior pressure on QBs while maintaining gap integrity.

We just invested another top pick on a playmaking LB. We should get some guys up front who will keep him clean.

They have to be thinking secondary at this point. I cannot imagine going into 2021 with Diggs, Lewis and Brown as the starters, with Mr Potatohead for depth.

Yeah, honestly it's hard to deny the connection. My logic is based on how ridiculously important a franchise LT is. I think they got a great player regardless.
