44. Dallas: Levi Onwuzurike, DT, Washington

The Cowboys continue to restock on defense, where Onwuzurike’s ability to get upfield could remind new defensive coordinator Dan Quinn of his former star in Atlanta, Grady Jarrett.

At the time of this pick, Tyson Campbell, Ifeatu Melifonwu, Kelvin Joseph, Jevon Holland and all DTs except Christian Barmore were still available

75. Dallas: Jevon Holland, S, Oregon

Running a Dan Quinn defense requires investing in heady playmakers who can shift throughout the defensive backfield. Holland can easily flip to the slot and broke up a ton of passes during his time with the Ducks, providing some semblance of comfort to a threadbare secondary.

At the time of this pick, Ronnie Perkins and Alim McNeill were still available

84. Dallas (from Indianapolis via Philadelphia): Paulson Adebo, CB, Stanford

Dan Quinn lands a 6’ 1” cornerback out of Stanford with great hands and a nose for picking off footballs. Sound familiar? It’s worth a shot. Dallas wanted a cornerback at the top of the draft but after getting edged by the Broncos and Panthers, they settled for some mid-round fliers.

At the time of this pick, Walker Little, Tommy Togiai and Milton Williams were still available

99. Dallas: Ben Cleveland, G, Georgia

The Cowboys have it as good as it gets at guard, but Cleveland is too big and too nasty to pass up. If they’re going to rebuild this offensive line brick by brick, he’s worth a mid-round flier.

No, me neither. Hence how awesome this would be
It's possible. Tons of safeties and teams don't really value them. How many safeties now people thought would go first round but still there in 2nd and 3rd round......

I can't see Holland being there or Adebo.

I doubt that anyone thought that Juan Thornhill, Nasir Adderley, Chauncey Gardner-Johnson and Taylor Rapp would all be available in 2019 when they took Trysten Hill. Safeties tend to slide in drafts.

The problem is that everyone will know you’re going Holland at 75 so someone will pick him before

trade up for Moehrig now
Then take McNeill and Adebo in rd 3

this 100%. I do like the OL pick.

I wouldn't sweat Safety so much. Still very good Safeties available.

That would be wild considering the first three picks were all opt outs.

I actually like this draft. I especially like Ben Cleveland at 99 although I don't think he will be there. Cleveland can't play OT but he can play LG where he will provide more power than Connor Williams. I like this move. Williams can become a swing tackle or swing OG allowing Martin to move outside again if Collins goes down.

Adebo is not my ideal CB, but he has size, speed and some athleticism. He'll help but I am not sure he will be ready on day one.

I think Onwuzurike will be what they thought Hill was going to be. the tandem of Onwuzurike and Gallimore could be pretty good in a year of two. Of course by then Gallimore will become a free agent.

Swap the Center with an OT, if a rated one is the, and I would love it.

It's not like it made me wistful thinking about it (unlike a lot of others, I wanted Gardner-Johnson there). Just pointing out that safeties are not valued highly by NFL teams in the draft.

so much Pac-12!

I'm not a Levi fan at all.

I can't quite figure out Holland but think reward outweighs any potential risks at 75.

I would be THRILLED with Adeebo and Cleveland with the next two picks.

I love their draft. Just don’t see Holland and Adebo there at 75 and 84.
