My wife has seen me watch the most devastating losses, and the most thrilling wins over the last thirty years. NHL, and NFL. Win or lose, five minutes after the game she has to ask me how it turned out because she can't tell from my demeanor.

During the game I'm cheering, yelling, complaining, swearing... whatever the situation calls for. As soon as that clock hits zero, my emotional attachment hits zero, too.

I did! It was after the first 90s SB. Same friend from HS. I doused him with charcoal lighter fluids and chased him with a lighter. He jumped over a chain link fence. He was pretty agile for a 6'2" 270 pounder! Good times!

That was the Packers Cowboys championship game where Meredith threw an interception in the Endzone on fourth down at the very end of the game. The year ended that New Year’s Eve with the Ice Bowl. I used to cry when we lost, I even beat up my best friend in HS because he kept making fun of me cause his Commanders beat my Cowboys. As I grew up and life hit me in the face, my loyalty and fandom stayed the same, but my reaction to wins and losses changed. Other than my playful Garrett sucks rant, I now take it with a grain of salt, lime and tequila!

How do you take the wins and losses??
