I think he comes down to what he views as respect. I think he feels like they are only willing to do what they are forced to do. That doesn't make him feel respected...so the actual dollar sign doesn't matter. Just my opinion of course.

Well said. He knows they thought he was declining & was planning his exit and he's going to make them pay for it.

So many of these situations are impossible to truly understand cause we don't know exactly what was said or done. In this case I tend to side with AR if for no other reason than you do everything you can not to rock the boat with a QB of his status. It's pretty clear they should have known better than draft a QB with a high pick without feeling him out first.

I don't know him, but I think it would have gone better if they had talked to him about taking a QB to sit in the wings behind him. Make him a part of the decision. Who knows. But, you're right. If he got the impression they were tossing him aside...washed up...the dollars won't fix it.

Elliott certainly is saying the right stuff. And it looks like he committed himself to being in better shape this offseason. Let's see that translate on the field and seeing a TB that looks a lot more like the one that was dynamic as a rookie.

Agree on all counts. It’s great to see and hear about his renewed commitment. And him realizing what he needs to do to avoid getting cut from that contract at some point.

I hope he stays in this good of shape during the season as well because I’ve seen that wane as the season goes along.

Rodgers is the best QB I've seen during my lifetime and I get that he's trying to write his own check for whatever it is but what the heck does he want exactly?

IMO these are the things he wants now:
1) To embarrass & make life miserable for the management he feels is responsible
2) To choose his next team (like Brady, Manning, etc)
3) To show he can win \ elevate said team
4) To walk away from the game on his own terms

I actually dont like Zekes comments. He should be mad that he let himself down not his teammates. He's not self motivated......he bamboozled me. Parsons seems self motivated so maybe he can help lead this franchise turnaround. Zeke isnt the guy
Zeke seems to finally have matured. In the best shape in several years, worked hard all offseason and seems motivated.

This offense runs through #4. Zeke should bounce back in this explosive offense

I just dont have faith in him as an all time great anymore. He may bounce back this year but that wasnt my point
