Only one roster cut has come back to bite us for the last decade plus. People spend way too much time on these fringe players.

People always overestimate that chance that another team will poach late round picks and UDFAs. 6th and 7th rounders are picks you should *plan* on cutting and going to the PS unless they really shine or you have some desperate need.

Other teams have their own late rounders with promise to keep, and *they* went through that team's camps, *and* have someone or someones in management on the hook for making good on their decision to pick them.

To be honest I though Anae and Armstrong both showed up more than Carter, but I'm not an expert.

Suddenly, I am starting to feel a slow rush of rue overcome my body.

He's from Baltimore, so that doesn't explain this. Surprised he wouldn't sign with the Ravens PS instead. Enjoy those Arizona state income taxes on that middle-class-at-best practice squad salary, buddy.

Was he even offered a ps spot by the ravens?

Fretting over guys that are fringe players isn't something you should lose sleep over. History is littered with guys like this that we let go that never made a peep in the league - that's why they bounce around from place to place until father time moves them on.

Good. This is symbolically important to me. This dude would get crushed on the edge over and over again Nick Hayden style. Eli Ankou was the other primary scrub and he is long gone.

Jaylon being dumb is another trigger. I will give the Q the benefit of the doubt until game day.

So in 2020 we give him a $145,000 bonus…one of the larger ones, only for him to opt to join the Colts practice squad. We bring him back, only for him to do the same. Hopefully we get the message that he doesn’t want to be here

Ok…honestly thought he opted to sign with Indy’s practice squad. Makes more sense

if Cowboys ever want him on the 53, they can get him, just as if he were on their own practice squad, so there's that. As long as he's not promoted by the Cards. Lotsa moving parts right now, so I wouldn't be surprised.
