It's unfortunate the injury/suspension/covid bug has hit the Cowboys team so hard this early on, but the bright side is that every player is expected to return this season. This team needs to find a way to hold the fort, weather the storm and find ways to win football games in the interim.

-DL has been hit the hardest with 3 starters already down, certainly their backups must pick up the slack. Goldston, Armstrong, Anae have an opportunity of a lifetime, they must take advantage of their chance.

-With such depth at the LB position, it makes all the sense in the world to play more of a 3-4 scheme. Certainly Parsons can be used more as an Edge Rusher, same can be said about Jaylon Smith.

-On the other side of the football, the team must give help to whoever starts at RT. It's far easier to help one replacement then it is with multiple starters out of the lineup. Moore/Philbin have to adjust their scheme as well.

How well a team handles its injuries and adversity always determines its ultimate fate. This is where quality of coaching and mental toughness matters.

Injuries, ...CoVid 19 and ...unfortunate suspensions will test our depth.. it's the QB that i really tremble about.

the good thing is we haven't suffered any season ending injury ... knock on wood.

These issues is what makes it fun.....it's like real life, not always perfect. That's why I just enjoy being a fan and try not to take it to seriously anymore.

It's a $#!? Storm with this team every year!

its football brah. look around the league,

it happens more often then you think i mean the ravens lost all 3 RBs on their depth chart and a starting CB before game 1 all in weeks time.ther are teams who have already lost their LTs and other key players.luck has a lot ot do with it and teams with the least amount of injuries to key players typically make it farther then most..it is part fo this game, you cant control it and yes we have been snake bit the last two seasons seemingly before game 2 both years , man its right..cant buy break or jerry would LOL

All good points. Would like to see us go to a real 3/4. With Goldston and Urban at the Ends. Put Parsons and Bashum at outside linebacker. Neal and LVE at middle linebackers. We will be ok.

Think that would be a good idea.
